I dont write as many reviews as I should, but I need to write one for Donut 7. You would surely miss this place just driving by. I know I did, many times. But dont let the old shopping center fool you. I stopped here because it was close to my office and I heard they sold breakfast tacos. Six months later, I now wont go anywhere else for breakfast. The store could use a face lift and is a little dated, but is small and friendly. The name doest make you think of anything other than donuts, but the breakfast tacos and other breakfast sandwiches are very, very good. On top of that, the customer service leaves nothing to be desired. They are a family owned business who are fast and incredibly friendly. Every time I go there, I am greeted by name and with a smile. This is the kind of local Austin business I wish everyone would support. If you are in the area, please go there and try something. The Jalapeno Kolaches are great. If you like your food and experience, please leave a review and help keep this wonderful local business alive.

This donut shop that takes much of my boyfriends money and I dont mind! It is a local shop owned by the nicest and most caring Korean couple that you will ever meet. Everytime I walk in their remember me by name and even when my boyfriend goes in, he tells me they ask to see how I am. Aside from their amazing hospitality, the food is quite good as well! The donuts are fresh and fluffy. A good size breakfast taco will run you only $1.65 and another of my favorite here is the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. This place is wonderful if you are in a rush and need a quick in and out breakfast run. If you have a few minutes to spare, I recommend eating inside so you can chat a little with the owners :)

I LOVE this place!! Good old fashioned donuts of course but the BEST thing you wont find anywhere else is FRESH tacos, croissanwiches, and biscuit sandwiches! Normally these items are pre-made and waiting to be nuked, but at donut 7 they grill them up fresh to order!! I havent had a better ham/chz/egg croissant anywhere! Oh, and if that doesnt grab you the coffee is basic but delicious, no frills but way better than convenient store brew! And for busy morning on the goers Ive been in line behind 5 others and still waited no more than 5 minutes to leave the store, even with all the custom made to orders coming in! :) GO HERE for breakfast! You wont be sorry, and youll probably come back! :)

This unassuming place is simply the best donut and breakfast taco place in Austin. Kim and Young have owned and operated Donut 7 for about 30 years and Ive been a customer for 20 of them. Always friendly and welcoming, plus they make the donuts right - the old-fashioned way. Best breakfast tacos, too, with just the right type of salsa - and they know how to cook the bacon! Dont be put off by the scrappy strip mall store. Yes, they could stand to paint the place and replace the faded donut photos. Thats OK. They have put all their energies into really good food and great customer service. Ill always come back home to Donut 7!

They are super soft. We head up from cedar park to come get donuts from them. THEY ARE THAT GOOD. My kids and wife call the donut holes there "little clouds". And while the donuts rock, so does everything else. I always get the ham, egg and cheese croissant while my wife gets the chorizo and egg tacos. Also since i started a new job, my coworkers keep asking me where this place is cause they are hooked now too. In regards to service, its the best. Owners are always willing to hold a conversation and even know my old coworkers and I by name as well as my kids. But that could also be cause we go there alot too

Im very picky about my donuts. Coming from Chicago, we had 4-5 excellent gourmet doughnut shops with fancy schmancy flavors. Coming to Donut 7 reminded me of how good plain glazed donuts are. We got the donut holes and both the spicy and regular kolaches. Fresh and cheap! We devoured in less than 5 minutes. :( The bread in the kolaches was delicious. I love good bread. The couple that runs the place is cheerful and very sweet. They thanked me several times for visiting. Love places like this.

I eat here, probably, too much if Im being honest. But I love the convenience and the taste. It is a joy to walk into a place, have them remember my order (like I said, probably come here too much) and have it ready by the time I pay. Fast, convenient, tasty, and nice. Everything you want to brighten up your day, in a location that smells like donuts and tacos. Cannot recommend enough.

I called in a decently large order for 20 people, and they had it ready to go in 10 minutes. They carefully separated and labeled everything so it was no problem telling who got what once I got it to the office. The sausage, jalapeno, and cheese kolache was better than it had any business being. Great warmed up with the cheese evenly placed throughout the sausage.

Love their chocolate frosted yeast donut. IT IS SO GOOD!!!! Fluffy and fresh and soft & not overly-greasy. I also had a breakfast taco that was good! Not as big as Torchys but they do make it fresh when you order, so thats a plus. FRIENDLY OWNERS!!!! They will put a smile on your face! Ill be back-- cant wait to try the kolaches! AND GET MORE DONUTS!!!

Best breakfast tacos in town. I love taco deli, but Donut 7 tacos taste like they were assembled from scratch, just for you. Its great breakfast comfort food. The owners are nice, the coffee is good, and the donuts are super delicious—better than Kens donuts in my opinion. Has a really nice "local secret" vibe if you know what I mean.

Food is good but ever since the new owners took over a few years back the prices have steadily climbed and items like the breakfast tacos have gotten smaller. So paying more for less. I was a daily costumer, now only make it in once every couple weeks or so since other places in the area are slightly more reasonable.

The owners provide a big smile and a spirited greeting for customers, every single time. You cannot walk out of here in a bad mood. Coffee is a generous pour. My go to donut is the chocolate glaze with sprinkles; it comes in a cute paper bag imprinted with, "You deserve a donut". And yes.....yes I do!!

Great breakfast spot. The owners are always friendly and their food is really good. The atmosphere is warm and bright; the shop is very clean and has a lot of seating. They serve a variety of donuts, kolaches, fresh made tacos, egg sandwiches, coffee and cane sugar sodas.
