DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. I bought a convertible beetle in October 2014. They would not give any specific info about the condition of the car, other than assuring me they had mechanics on site (giving the impression they actually looked at the car prior to selling it) and referring me to the vehicle history report, which was fairly clean. They also offered me discount repair rates if i had problems with the car in the future. The window in the convertible top was coming unsealed and they agreed to reseal it as part of the purchase deal. The check engine light came on the day after I bought the car and it was over $1000 to reseal and replace a bunch of various emission hoses and fittings. Within 4 months of buying the car, Ive spent an additional $2000 to keep it in safe driving condition: Ive had to replace the control arms, the CV joints, boots and axles, a transmission mount, the battery, the brakes, wiper blades and tires. When I took the car back in to have them reseal the convertible rear window, they did that as agreed upon, BUT they broke a mechanical part of the convertible top and sealed the window around it, and didnt say anything about the part they broke. Theres no way to fix the broken mechanical arm without removing the canvas top, and I cant open and close the top without causing more damage. And they broke interior door handle off and just stuck it back on, so it came off in my hand the first time I closed the car door upon picking up the car! This "repair" took over 2 weeks; Sam said it would take 2-3 days. If they knew the condition of the car before they sold it to me, I consider it profoundly unethical that they would sell it as is and then turn around and offer discounted repair rates. Because of this I took the car to a different repair shop. If they were unaware of the condition, with a mechanic on site, I consider it criminally negligent. This whole experience has been nothing but a frustrating, disappointing nightmare. I will be pursuing legal action.

I will never buy a car anywhere else! Ive purchased 3 cars now from Sam the owner of Austinite Auto. I plan on getting my son his first car there as well. The first car I purchased I bought cash and it was a 2007 BMW with low miles and an awesome price. I fell in love ul the moment I saw it. Unfortunately someone rear ended me at a dead stop and totalled it out. The car was in such good shape the insurance company gave me exactly if not more than what I excepted. I then asked sam to find me another bmw with low miles and not to pricey. Well within the next two days he found me a beautiful black 09 BMW and it was in my price range. One thing I love about this dealership is they make sure nothing is wrong with the car before u buy it. This was another top of the line bmw with only one owner so of course I bought it. I have never had not one issue with any cars Ive bought from him. And if a check engine light comes on I just call the office and sam sets me up with his mechanic. Never before has a dealership done this for me. Well I ended up getting into a 3 car pileup which was not my fault and as soon as I wrecked the car I called sam. Now this car wreck was a little bit more tricky because one of the cars didnt have insurance. I ended up hiring an attorney and settling for a decent some of money. Well after that I decided maybe bmw wasnt for me lol so I asked Sam to find me a mercedes and they found me a 2013 c300 that im in love with. Thank you austinite auto

This is an update of my previous comment... Sam (the owner) reached out to us an explained how some web pages work and take some days to update changes... We went back and closed the deal! He apologized for the confusion and for the way we felt that day. Actually, this second opportunity was one of the best experiences buying an used car... Thanks Sam! Be aware that what you see on their online ads is not the truth... We saw the car last night (Monday April 17th, 2017) and went by this morning. My husband decided he would buy it, since the price was right for the damages reported and the work needed in order to have the car in good condition. When we were about to pay, the lady told us, the price had gone up and it was now $1000 more than advertised... We were in disbelief and offer to pay the price they had online in cash... She went in to check with the owner, and he came back saying that the price they had online was for the weekend (not to mention they don´t work on Sundays...) We told him we saw that car online Monday night, and his ad was tricking costumers to come by... He said he had had many inquiries about the car and that if we did not want to pay the higher price we were welcome to go... He has not good manners to talk to clients at all!!! So, as you can imagine, we left!!!

Weve purchased three cars from them and I havent had any serious issues out of any of them. Most of the people here seem to expect pure reliability out of cheap resold German cars. If you are buying a BMW, or Merc its going to eventually have problems. Some of which cannot be predicted by a dealer. The civic we purchased has been run into the ground and still turns on first crank, we purchased it with 140k on it and the car now has 250k. This for 3200 bucks a great deal. I bought a 90s Buick and it still runs perfectly fine (It didnt have AC when I purchased it and we knew that.) hence my purchase of a 2010 Kia that was given for one heck of a deal. MAP Sensor and the fact that it was a stick shift certainly made it a hard sell to most people in the city but the deal was good regardless. If I had one complaint its that I havent gotten my plates yet, but I am in a different county so thats not really their fault. People who say this place is Shady havent been to a REAL shady dealership. Its not a new car lot or Carmax, you get what you pay for and they run a very good business.

I bought a Volkswaggen with them. They offered me a good price and were able to lower a good amount. Im glad they did because two weeks later I waisted $600 to fix a lot of things by the transmission when my check engine popped up. My mechanic has been fixing our cars for years and he gave me a discount so I imagined it was bad if it was more than $600 (he gives good prices). Hes also very good but a week later my check engine came up again for something totally different. Since then Ive waisted a lot on that car. My mechanic said that they tried to hid the problems with it and have their "ways" to do it. I didnt go back and tell them because they made sure to tell me "No warranty". I dont know if all their cars are like this... but they are very friendly. Save your money and dont go here. I have school debt to be paying all the problems with the car.
