The people here are rude, inconsiderate and totally focused on the bottom line, not the customer. The owner refused to accept my insurance (they are an in-network provider) even when i provided written documentation for the coverage. The employees are odd, socially awkward and dont seem aware (i hope) that they are putting people off by their rude demeanor and insensitivity to the customer. These are not people who should be in the customer service business - none of them. I made a mistake by going back here after my first terrible experience - dont bother going.

Jesse was courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and extremely helpful in helping my wife and I with our glasses. I needed to have all of the joints repaired on mine as they were literally falling apart. I didnt even purchase the glasses here and Jesse still had no problem with helping me. He finished very quickly and also tightened my wifes glasses even faster. We were in and out of there in no time thanks to Jesse. Give this guy a business card!

I have purchased several pairs of prescription eyeglasses from Austin Vision Center of the years. Ive experienced excellent service and quality each time, especially from optician Max Baltazar. Besides his expert skills as an optician (solving an alignment problem for me) he demonstrates utmost professional demeanor. He succeeds in matching his customers needs and budget to the best product without being pushy.

The doctor was nice and the exam was fine but I will not be returning here. They charged me a $50 contact lens fitting fee on top of my eye exam co-pay. I have been getting eye exams with the same insurance for 10 years and have never had this charge. When I asked they said our office does it differently. Will definitely not return because of that.

dr. matt baltazar at the tarry town location seemed inexperienced and was rude. when asking him questions as a new patient, he belittled me by treating me like an idiot. my prescription was not good either.

Mark Huston is the only person to ever give me a working prescription. He also directed me to an eye surgeon that could correct my strabismus. He is FANTASTIC and such a nice guy.

Dr. Hutson is 100% good. Ive been going to him for 25 years. Knowledgable, up to date, friendly. Good guy, so is Dr. Marshall, good shop, great staff.
