The office I work at decided to try out Le Madeleine for our lunch to be placed as a to go order to be picked up be a rep and brought to us on Thursday the 7th. All the food was there and most of it was good except for two things. The Turkey Bistro I ordered did not have "sun-dried tomato pesto" on it, there was just plain mayo. I can get a damn turkey sandwich with mayo anywhere but I cant get one with sun-dried tomato pesto just ANYWHERE. Very disappointing. Also, a coworker order the Salade Sampler and I dont know if the garnish is something you normally include on the soups for the Sampler but she was very disappointed to find it was not garnished with "cheddar cheese and chopped bacon." If its not something you usually include on the soup on the Sampler then maybe you should change your presentation on to go orders because it was seriously lacking. Soup was also runny and not creamy in the slightest. I realize it was right as you opened but you kind of expect more from a "fancy French bistro." I know youre a brand new restaurant but step up your game. As far as I know everything else was fine.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, sat down and waited. My food never came. It was a simple mistake and I was ready to write this place off and not try it again. When I asked for a refund, the management listened to me and quickly gave me the refund. They apologized, and insisted that I wait 5 min so that they could get me my food to go even though I told them three times that it was not necessary they would almost not let me leave until they made it right. Have not looked at it but but I am pretty sure that the manager gave me a gift card or a coupon. The person that brought the to go box to me continued to apologize and was very understanding and kind. The eggs did not look super impressive, but they were delicious. I think this was a simple mistake and I was not too upset about it, but there are not a lot of employees at places like this that understand how important customer satisfaction is. I plan on coming back simply because that is good business. They cared about their service. Its too common for people in the food service to not care and I was impressed by the people working there.

Love La Madeleine and love supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, this location was poorly ran. Very inefficient. I just wanted coffee and a chocolate croissant. The dine in line was to the door so I attempted to go to the take out which had no line. I was informed I could not do so because all dine in required to receive a number. I obliged since my family was already seated and we were going to eat there. 45 minutes later and Im still waiting for a croissant which I can see sitting in the display. Looked around, and patrons were also bored waiting for food. The complimentary bread also was out. Im normally understanding of the place if it is packed and understaffed . Traffic was decent but they had 3 employees in the kitchen, 3 at the counter, and a couple working the tables. I may give it another go in the future but really disappointed this go around. No apology or explanation for the poor service. Now looking at other reviews, I guess this should be expected as service has not improved.

No coffee americam coffee urn was empty. I was with elderly mother and spoke to the manager 3 times. Tewnty minutes later with my getting up to check finally able to serve i and mom coffee Only scraps of bread available at first. Only two slices of white bread...and they had bite marks on them. At no time did the manager apologize or make any effort to ease the hopping up and down I had not seem mom in months. We were not able to visit. The only bright brain in the establishment was the hostess debra at door. She should be manager. Oh I got very ill from the speciality of the house, tomato soup. I cant remember when we were treated worse. Macdonals senior coffees from now on. I would like refund apology and afternoon back!

Sometimes you just get sick of pizza, hamburgers and tacos. You dont want something that is going to sit on your stomach like a sack of wet rags. Thats when we go to la Madeleine. Great array of soups, salads and sandwiches as well as very good pastries. This place seems to have a high turnover, which means there is confusion at the register sometimes but the food is always good and the staff is always friendly. Sometimes busy but never ridiculously crowded. One thing they need to do is have some sweet tea. This is the South and we like our tea sweet. And since they dont drink iced tea in France i assume the iced tea is there to cater to American taste. So get some sweet tea, guys.

This restaurant serves fake french food , everything is cooked beforehand and sits in warmers. No freshness at all ! No experienced cooks and served to you by goofy teenagers who dont know the first thing about good food! Dont even think of ordering pasta, all you get is boil in a bag like a TV dinner. Ordered a Chicken Friand, expecting a delicious pot pie type of meal and what I got was comparable to a Hot Pocket, bland and tasteless, with hardly any filling. The Crepes were hard and rubbery. Dont waste your time or money at this overpriced place . Note to the corporation, you have to actually COOK the food !

We were so terribly disappointed. There were 4 of us. One meal, the same order as 3 of us made, came out 20 minutes earlier than the rest. The other 3 came and were cold. My husbands meal had a long hair in it and the server actually asked if he wanted them to remake it! He said yes, which should have been obvious. Then we had to wait even longer on his food. The server told everyone behind the counter he had found, and she had confirmed, a hair in his food. But there was no apology from the manager or offer of a comp for his meal. This was our first, and last, time to ever be in this restaurant.

I love La Madeleine but this new one is not taking care of its business! No one working at the sallad bar or at the front greetng people! No trays at the entrance! Very dissapointed with this one! The location is great but terrible customer services! Where is the manager ? This one will go downthehill !!!!! I came this morning to get something and there was no one taking orders or serving! I left and went to a close by Chick fil A , where I received a great service!!!!! Maybe the manager of LaMadeleine needs to learn something with the manager of Chick fil A!

I cant even explain how disappointed we were. All but 2 tables outside still had the previous peoples dishes and left overs on them, there werent many people inside, so there was no reason to have SO many un-bussed tables. Trash ALL over the ground. Then when we went inside, the first thing we noticed was the old nursing home cafeteria smell (yack!)....after deciding to stay despite the smell, we went over for the traditional jam and Bread, but it was all OUT. The food....ugh... Tasted like traditional fast food!....
