As I sit in the parking lot yet again leaving without making a purchase because they are out of stock many of the items I need. I have avoided leaving this review for at least 2 years. I have had it with this Kroger. The remodeled the building but there is obviously something wrong with how the store os being managed. I have lived and shopped in this neighborhood for 15 years. Whoever is in charge of ordering the product consistently drops the ball. They are always late. Always on a Saturday, out of stock, waiting for a Tuesday delivery. They are out of stock at 5pm after work and 5am before work on many days. How is this possible!? Its sad that I even know when they get deliveries! Its because I always have to find someone to ask if they have more in the back, which they never do. Then when Ive asked for a manager on several occasions, during regular hours, they are NEVER there. During each trip they are ALWAYS out of stock of at least 3 items I need from various areas of the store. Egglands Best eggs, vegetarian products, fruits and veggies as well as Blue Diamond almond milk. My trip always requires a 2nd stop at Publix next door. Today there are no GMO FREE beets, no organic ginger, no single organic lemons, old and limp organic kale. I could go on, but I left my cart mid shopping and walked out. DONE. Grocery shopping should be a stress free, one stop situation, especially when I am spending my hard earned money. Now, if you need sugary candy for $1 that will eventually cause obesity, diabetes, cancer and rot your teeth, no worries they keep plenty of that in stock at all times and right by the front door to remind you and your kids when you arrive and leave Ill just go next door where there is more consistency and quality.

I used to go to this Kroger a lot but I finally just had enough with the deli service. Every time I would go to the deli I would wait 10 to 15 minutes before they even got around to asking me what I wanted and then they would take another 10 minutes to do it, and then still get it wrong! One time, I asked for "One pound of maple glazed chicken." The guy responded with, "One pound of maple glazed turkey." I corrected him and said, "Chicken." He said, "Oh, right." and then spent 5 minutes searching before telling me, "I dont think we have any maple glazed turkey." WTF!! Another time I tried to use the "kiosk" system. LOL. I placed the order and went to complete the rest of my shopping. I came back 30 minutes later to discover they had not yet sliced my order. So I waited a few minutes before one derelict behind the counter finally asked me if he could help me. I said, "Well, I placed an order on the kiosk about a half hour ago..." He said, "Oh," and literally stumbled this way and that, as if he had no idea what to do. Then he randomly started cleaning one of the slicers. Finally another person behind the counter asked me if I was being helped. I repeated my previous statement. He went to the printer and discovered that it, "hadnt printed my order for some reason." But he would be happy to take my order now..... Holy cow! Another time I went there and the guy, after wasting a whole bunch of time, finally sliced some BBQ chicken for me. Before handing it to me he smelled it and told me, "I love how this meat smells!" I wanted to tell him, "Quit smelling my god@mn meat and put in the F#^&ing bag!" Anyway, I go to Publix deli now, and it is always a delightful experience.

10/18/13 Dear Consumer, I want to help you. We have had trouble with this location for the past ten days. This location currently has a practice of taking pre-authorizations out on gas, AND groceries. For the record, this is the only establishment that makes a duplicate transaction on your bank account and takes additional money for one purchase. (Thats right, a $140.60 trip to the grocery store will cost you $281.20 for the first five days...) Also, they take out pre-authorization money at the pump when you pay for gas, at the pump. We paid $32.67 for gas and they took out an ADDITIONAL $125.00 two days AFTER the transaction as a pre-authorization transaction. When the manager was asked about this, they denied all knowledge. When the bank was about about this, they confirmed it is a practice of Krogers and that the bank cannot cancel or refuse these types of charges. Please be aware of these additional costs to your family when shopping at this location. We hope this post helps you avoid this headache.

I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. The bad experience begins the moment you arrive in the parking lot, which is ALWAYS a disaster. The store is just plain TRASHY and the employees are downright rude. Ive been ignored by the bakery and floral department multiple times when trying to place orders. They are always out of everything on my list and there are empty shelves everywhere. They dont bother checking the dates on the produce or yogurt and will sell you expired products without blinking twice. Take your business to the Publix next door and I promise youll have a much better experience that wont leave you wanting to rip your hair out.

Always way too packed no matter what time of what day you go. Never a decent parking spot, parking lot is way to busy and small packed and tight. Need to expand it or something its ridiculous. I had to turn down like 4 different spots just to get to the exit. I really dont like the area either..... But on another note.... The inside isnt bad, of course busy like downtown Nashville walking the small isles, but do have a great variety of food and usually always stocked so a plus on that one. The cashiers and all employees are great, are always friendly. Main point GOOD PLACE BUT NEEDS WAY WAY MORE ROOM INSIDE AND OUT FOR THE LOCATION.!

This Kroger is a one-stop shop that is well kept, clean and organized. It has a wonderful fresh fish and seafood and meat deli. I especially love the wild caught fish selection. They also have a salad bar and a kitchen with hot food. They have vegan options which you can rarely find in other groceries in the area. They also have wine and dinnerware, silverware, cookware, etc. They have everything but the best part about this store is The EMPLOYEES. Everyone is so helpful and nice. They give the place a homey feel. Im so glad Im close to this Kroger.

Stopped by today to try out their clicklist feature and was thoroughly impressed. An associate brought out my order quickly and even helped let load it. After I arrived home I noted that the items I purchased were loaded sensibly (frozen items together, etc) and I wasnt given dilapidated produce our otherwise undesirable items either. Well worth the extra $5 for the service and the extra driving time to get to a location with this service.
