I highly recommend Billy Goat Cafe. Every morning the staff are friendly and quick to chat while they work, providing that great community vibe along with quality customer service that many coffee shops aim for but many dont achieve. The menu items are always fresh and tasty. I like the scones as well as the soup and sandwich lunch combo. And the staff are quick to customize my java anyway I want it. Billy Goat Cafe is a great place to meet a customer, a friend, or just get some solo work or studying done with the earbuds in. The room relies mostly on natural light from outside so theres no florescent glare, and offers regular cafe tables, a more casual sofa and easy chair corner, as well as pub style bar seating for individual laptop users. The free wifi signal is excellent. Being relatively new to town, Ive found it easy to strike up casual conversations with other customers and meet new people in the community. The only challenge that the cafe faces is parking at key times of the day, and thats because its such a great place to gather. Katt and Austin have built a great team and a great space here; I encourage you to check them out.

First off.... The dark roast is amazing here. Its nice to find a local coffee dig that doesnt "char" and burn their coffee. They have many milk substitutes including almond and soy and they offer gluten free goodies as well. Secondly, its super cute and hip inside. Good seating, cozy dark "coffee shop" feel. Features awesome local art on the walls, fair trade items and a GIANT goat mural that explains the origin of the name (which is super awesome!!! ) Last and more importantly....service is SOO EPIC. They take the time to make your coffee shop delights correctly but also make a point to converse with you and acknowledge youre a human and not just a venti pound of flesh with money. I promise youll be delighted.

unfortunately my experience there was simikar to another reviewe, the coffee drink tasted like warm milk. when you add so much creamer that the coffee isnt hot, but tepid, and there is no coffee flavor, well it means you added too much. the person on duty was training the next employee so I have no hopes it will get better, and at $18 for 2 ppl to get coffeee and a snack, I wont personally give them another chance. nice to have a coffee shop close. but they are expensive and coffee is bad.

The new owners at Billy Goat have turned this into my favorite coffee and workplace hang. I so badly wanted to like it under the old ownership because I believe strongly in supporting local business, but in my opinion the coffee was bad most of the time. The new team has upped the quality of the coffee and food. I can now go in and get a great cup of coffee and friendly service...Every Time. Whether or not you liked Billy Goat before, youll LOVE it now!

A little on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. I usually get a Gooey Goat which is delicious every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and make helpful suggestions if you are into trying something new. I like the laid back and atmosphere which makes for a quiet and comfortable work or relaxing space. Wasnt too fond of them switching locations at first but now like this spot better because they have a drive through. :)

After some recent updates and improvements to their interior I decided to stop in and get some work done today. Good improvements all around and the coffee drinks have improved as well. My raspberry white mocha was very enjoyable. Seating space was available with good wifi speeds to boot. Kudos on the changes and improvements, Ill be back.

Lovely, creative space that helps me concentrate on the tasks at hand! Great coffee, an iced vanilla goat this time, made it even better! Amazing cafe with great coffee! The cozy atmosphere is what makes the place along with the very friendly staff. Came in early Saturday morning with little to no crowd. Had the goat kicker (coffee with espressos shot) and the bacon quiche. Along with free wifi, this place is definitely worth a visit!

This trendy coffee shop has an excellent atmosphere. They offer moderately priced coffee and tea drinks as well as breakfast and lunch options. They have some of the best coffee in town and its an excellent place to sit and read, hang out with friends, or just grab a quick coffee in the drive thru.

Billy Goat Cafe is by far my favorite coffee house in MJ. Id rather go there and get my fill of coffee, breakfast or the delicious lunch than any other overrated coffee chain. They are so friendly too which is a huge plus.
