Called to get price and availability on a part. They did not have it in stock so I asked about overnighting the item, because the vehicle was down and on the rack. Justin quoted me a shipping price of 20% and absolutely no more than 30%. Also, he told Id have it by 10:30a.m. the next day. I call at noon the next day and get spun(they have no clear answer/explanation). I call at 2p.m. and theyve just received the item. At 2:40p.m. it arrives(4hrs late) and Justin has charged me $45 for shipping, not the $14-$21 he had quoted me just hours before. This $45 fee works out to 60% of the cost of the item. When I asked Justin to uphold HIS word and HIS quote he started backpeddling and saying he doesnt typically deal freight charges etc. At this point I asked to speak with his manager, Adam, who in turn was less help than the first guy. This manager did as he should and stood behind his employee, BUT his employee was in the wrong for quoting prices and then not being able to follow through with HIS pricing that HE provided me. The 60% markup for shipping was and is absurd. All we were asking for was for them(Napa) to acknowledge the excessive fee and adjust the price to what was originally quoted.

Eating at the front counter when I walked in. Didnt even try to look up the part. Said they dont carry it at any store and Ill have to go to a junk yard.Called the Napa on middlebrook and the associate had the part ready by the time I arrived to pick it up.
