I really like that their parking lot isnt like the JC WalMart lots that requ ire a bodyguard. I like how this WM doesnt feel like the other ones inside too. I use to go to a group after my divorce. I stayed in that weekly group for years just to offer support and learn. The oddest thing I learned in my support group was that the WM perpetuated so many peoples anxiety. I thought ya know what they are completely right. I started shopping at Ingles, Fresh Market or FC and sometimes Kroger. I always thought I couldnt afford the others. Turned out I cant afford not to. Plus, WM is so horrible to their employees that they could care less what happens to you when your on their property. I actually, because of the copycat set up of Lynn Gardens location to the other stores, had the illusion of safety and genuine customer service. However, after my 4th visit the illusion wore off. I was close to mowed down at the door by another customer as I t walked out in the crosswalk. I was treated horribly by the cashier and the other employee standing there ..not bagging my groceries. I had a question about wic. Im a foster parent. Usually we get teens but sometimes we get little ones. I dont have any now but I had the question about WM labeling. I have to use the vouchers or the parent could possibly be effected for those who do not under.stand that. I was treated with disdain and disgust. No problem WM. I would rather get my Starbucks on .

What moron thinks its a good idea to schedule 6 cashiers in the morning but only 2 during the busiest evenings? I come in AFTER WORK which is around 5pm only to sit in line for an hour while they beg and plead maintenence or a stocker to come open another register. Which at that point, is only 3 registers open, and some hard ass sits up front with her arms crossed behind self check out. They could help the crowded lines, but instead continue to stand there and act like theyre working really hard by standing there. In my opinion, go to food city right down the street. They have plenty of cashiers and plenty of stock on the self, because their stockers are actually stocking and not bagging your groceries. Or even priceless or Krogers. All way better and faster alternatives. But I will give them credit, on weekend mornings, they have about 6 cashiers bored out of their mind just BEGGING for someone to come through their line. So shop in the mornings for the fastest, more enjoyable time you can possibly experience in that dump.

Let me start with the good stuff: if u need just a gallon of milk and some diapers this is a good place to go because u dont have to walk a mile and chase your kids all over. Ok. Ive been here about 4 times so far and asked a question 3 times. ( Im not usually so Incompetent but twice I was in a huge hurry and the third time I was looking for a very hard to find formula for my baby) I digress, hey were pretty rude every time even the last time and it was a csm that helped me. Let me say " you never know what someone is going thru. So try to be nice". Hope you have a better experience.

FINALLY the local townspeople get a Walmart grocery & express store like cities in the northern U.S. have long seen for several years now! Well-stocked, Cheerful, welcoming, inviting decor built for high traffic! Organized floor plan & aisle positioning. NOT THE FRIENDLIEST personnel sadly! Hardly see any of them....matter of fact only 1 of them all has ever smiled; much less cracked a smile! Walmart Corp surely has the superior personnel when it comes to retailing and garnering marketshare in this Southwestern VA/TN region. By far, THE BEST retailer.

I like that its smaller so if you need a few things you dont have to go to Walmart supercenter. Avoid going at night though. Every time ive ever been after 9 PM ive always seen teenagers hanging out everywhere or i am approached by people begging for money or rides. I even had some drunk man and woman try to beg me to buy them alcohol because they were refused the sale. Ill stop in at daylight. But seriously, they need cops in the parking lot after dark and thats just not safe especially when i see alot of families shopping here.

Cashiers really need to be trained on Bagging Groceries. Raw Meat and Eggs should not be bagged with ready to eat items like fruit, ice cream, cheese, baked goods etc. Cans should not be bagged on top of Bananas. Twice I got home to find I did not have all my purchased items. My Bagged groceries were left on the rack and the cashier started ringing up the person behind me and bagging their groceries. I thought I got all my bags, evidently I didnt, when I got home I was missing an item that I was charged for.

I love this Wal-Mart! Its very clean, well stocked, NO LINES, and the team is super Friendly! I am in awe by the customer service, I dont think I have received this level of excellent service in ANY Wal-Mart. This Wal-Mart carries specialty items that I used to have to make an extra trip to Food City to get but now I save time because I can get them all in one store. I am pleasantly surprised every time I shop here and will continue to be a regular.

This now probably my 2nd favorite grocery store in the tri cities. Has so much more than a normal walmart grocery section but keeps the lower prices. The deli, pizza station and diversity of items sold us. I definitely plan on making this a normal part of our shopping routine.

More of a grocery store than regular supercenters. Also has a larger selection of food/drink items than the supercenter up the road. I can find large coconut waters and Kevita drinks at the Neighborhood Market while the supercenter does not carry them.

Love the customer service manager there . Im not sure of her name. But shes always very more helpful. I like the fact its smaller than the super center. Very convenient for being in a rush or not wanting to be in a large crowd!

This place is okay the only thing I dont like about it is they dont sell womens bras and stuff like that its mostly just food but other than that they are clean and they are not to you

I love this place. Aside from it getting crowded which I despise, they have everything they need from food to canned goods, all at an affordable price you cant beat anywhere else

Im not a huge fan of Walmart stores but when you need something very late at night you do what you have to, this Walmart is really nice, its clean, well organized, well stocked.

Has most of what you need from a grocery store. Not as much as a Super Walmart grocery section, but very handy to get in and out quickly. Pharmacy has a convenient drive-thru.

No matter how nice the store is, no matter how clean, no matter how well stocked, none of that matters if you cant enter and exit without being accosted by the beggars.
