My Favorite Retail Experience of All Time and Space. Albeit unfortunate, those alleging that the customer service at this Whole Foods is lacking have met with a highly isolated circumstance. The workers are so friendly and so helpful in this store that its a slice of Heaven. Ive worked serving the public most of my life and can tell you with a most critical eye that the empathy, product knowledge, and courteousness of this staff is beyond outstanding. I go often, my last experience being yesterday. When I came looking for emu oil, although the store did not have it, Daphne in Wellness was both personable and knowledgeable during an exploration of both my original goals and possible alternatives; moreover, so was the individual the week before, when I was trying to compose a DIY topical, Vitamin C concoction. The bagger smiled and greeted me with total eye contact. Even as I was leaving, the girl bringing in shopping carts smiled and said "have a nice day". I mean... honestly.. who the hell are you people complaining about this store. They dont need a lesson in customer service. You drama queens need a lesson in both observation and not being so regal. Youd cuss birds for singing too loud. And one last story: I came in asking for corned beef one day and they were out. Because I had to wait for a couple of minutes while they checked the freezer the manager of the counter wanted to make it up to me. He went over to meats, got me pork chops at cost, and then, he cooked them for me! For crying out loud! These people are so helpful youre depressed when you leave the store. A Swedish masseuse at La Costa is hitler compared to any one of these angels. PS Thank you Daphne for the cocoa butter suggestion. We really like this junk. And two,... guys... $28.19 a vile for frankincense oil might be market, but the stuff just doesnt last. PPS. Chefs... the chicken adobo burritos... SUPERB!!!!!

Whole Foods Franklin wishes it can be like Whole Foods Greenhills when it grows up. THE GOOD: I like this place because its the only place in Frankljn TN where you can get non GMO, hormone free options for a lunch meal. They have vegan options that no one else will. THE BAD: FLIES FLIES FLIES. Its about to be summer time again. So Im bracing myself. They have to do something to keep the flies out. Maybe turn up the fans by the doors. I mean they act as if they dont even notice it. Ive mentioned it to the staff and they act like its news to them, and no one else complains. The second bad thing is They have almost the exact same foods on their hot bar EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! I mean they literally just prepare same foods daily for their hot bar and salad bar. I bet you that if you walked in right now youd find variations of chicken wings, roasted vegetables, byrani rice, chick peas, diced paleo sweet potatoes and some Indian pulled chucked dish. I mean whoever the manager is in prepared foods never mixes it up. I love their corn bread. It is quite delicious. I just really wish theyd take after the green hills location and make a vegan version. I promise it tastes the exact same. PS I do enjoy the environment, and I wanted to give 3 or 4 stars but the flies are really unsanitary.

This store on McEwen at one time was our favorite grocery mainly because of the large selection of fresh and organic food. We drive 40 minutes to this location. The last two visits however, have been very disappointing. The cold case bar has changed from a nice presentation of fresh salads and meat to wilted, dried out food now in square steel trays. The pizza bar at one time had generous portions of cheese and coverage. The last two times visiting the employees were very curt when asked to make something different. I will be evaluating if I will be going back to this location. We usually walk out with our "organic fix". The last two visits we have left with only one or two items.

I am a big fan of Whole Foods. However, the location in Franklin is poorly managed in the produce area. Many, many times, my wife and I have shopped during the last AM hours and have found significant shortages in basic produce - e.g. yellow onions, carrots, kale, spinach, tomatoes, etc. Sometimes these bins are simply empty! Recently I arrived at 10am on a Tuesday and found that almost 50% of ALL the bins were empty - it looked like they were pulling all the stock to replace it with fresh stock BUT this was NOT the case (I asked). It was simply POOR management. The remainder of the store is great - it is just the PRODUCE area that needs better management

Ok it is the only game in town for many neighborhoods with regard to sone boutique and organic produce. It seems super overpriced though for a lot of stuff and this place is also exhibit A for that "organic" is not the same thing as "high quality". Recently bought a watermelon there that looked and sounded perfect and which was organic, yet was the most disgusting watermelon weve ever tasted. It had a revolting soft rubbery texture and the taste was all wrong. We bought organic sweet potatoes the same day and they were just about the worst too. I like whole foods, its just I could like them a LOT more. Meats there are great though.

This was once a great whole foods. Unfortunately, what made this store great is gone. The breakfast bar in the mornings is devoid of anything edible. At one time you could find a vast array of breakfast items now is a couple of egg dishes and some biscuits. Bacon send non existent anymore as they dont cook enough to keep it full. The pizza bar is a joke half the time and the other half is fantastic. Unfortunately, you never know which its going to be. The kitchen staff as rude and would rather talk to each other than help a paying customer. Please, if possible, go to the Green Hills store. Its many times better!

Over-priced food, and the hipsters who work there would rather talk about how wasted they were last night than provide any assistance. If you are going to be the most expensive grocery in town try acting like you give a little bit of a crap about helping your customers. Also, they always ask for donations to some cause every time you check out. With their high prices, whole foods should make the donation out of their cut if the cause is that important to them.

Not a big fan of Whole Foods but sometimes I give it another chance. unfortunately this time was no better. Staff ignored me and another customer while chatting and again while slicing my deli order. Purchased a loaf of rye had to be 3 days old - style and dry. The salad bar was not well stocked. The cashier was miserable but I will say the bagger was very pleasant. It was a Saturday so maybe just part time staff with little training.

Great place to have a good lunch or dinner, staff are friendly and the store is kept clean. The music in the dining area is nice, but I didnt care for the hand washing sink in the dining area.. only b/c it has separate spigots for hot and cold water. Which.. is definitely a 1st world problem all in all. Prices are a little higher than your average grocery store, but not that outrageous and they do have pretty good sales from time to time.
