Earlier today, my husband and two kids went to exchange a game purchased a week ago. The assistant manager stood beside the gentleman who said they couldnt do anything without a receipt. The assistant manager wouldnt step in nor offer anything but an indifferent attitude. It was a week ago, not a month, not two weeks. My husband was refusing to ever go back inside there again. All he wanted was to exchange the game that didnt work for one that would. I get off work, heard the whole story. Ive worked retail 20yrs, been assistant manager and manager. I know theres something that shouldve been done--customer service. I call and speak with Matt, the manager. He looks up the info, APOLOGIZES for the lack of service his assistant manager offered. He offered to refund our money or swap game. All we wanted was to swap game. I get there to swap the game and Matt once again apologizes plus he gave us a gift card. I was happy enough to get the game swapped and the apology for attitudes my husband dealt with earlier, but to be given a gift card on top was going above and beyond in customer service. This day and age, customer service seems to be lacking but he restored the faith that there are managers and businesses who continue to offer what I consider great customer service! My husband will continue to shop there because of Matt. Thank you, Matt! You are a great example of how customer service is suppose to be handled!! Thank you!

Had a fraud charge on my credit card at this store. Called to talk to them about it and they were not interested in the least. Told me to call the corporate offices (which of course were closed). Looking around on the net I see it is quite common for criminals to make Game Stop their first purchase after getting card information. There is probably a reason for that. I think these stores are rather slimy all the way around.

I am a huge gamer, so I frequently go to gamestop as well as other gaming stores. The staff here is always friendly, and they always try to be the best help that they can be. I have been to many different gamestop stores in the area and on vacations, but this store is by far the friendliest and most helpful.
