This is not your average pet store. These guys sell everything from birds, to plants, to koi fish, to lizards. This place turns a regular pet store visit into a field trip. I loved this place. If youve ever seen the movie We Bought a Zoo, you will totally get this vibe from the friendly staff and work environment. Its a trustworthy, solid little shop with little friends like peacocks and prairie dogs hanging out. Who knew this place was buried in the pockets of Dayton. Highly recommend them, you wont regret the visit.

This is the unofficial Dayton zoo. The pet store has good stuff to buy, but there are zoo like animals just there for your viewing: a monkey, snakes, crocodiles and more. For $3 you can tour their walking area that is has custom areas you might find in the best zoos in the country. Some animals to see too. The pavilion area is a favorite with the kids as you can feed the emus and pigs. You can rent this place for parties, would be great for little kids. Talk to the owners, they are awesome!

Ive been going here since they first started renovating, I love going here. Theyre always so friendly and helpful, not to mention they take such great care of all their animals. Im enjoying the new additions they have, and Im sure many other people are too. This is a great place to buy an "exotic pet" they have everything you need along with knowledge from them on care. Its also a perfect place to take your kids to see all the many different animals they have, almost like a zoo.

not as described in other reviews! maybe it was off season, or something... It did occupy the kids for about 15minutes. If you are close by and looking to pay $3 per person to look around and see a few animals.. we saw some pigs, emu, turtles, and a couple peacocks. One of the "features" was being worked on and they were playing loud music, that was NOT kid friendly.

Great friendly customer service. The establishment has been around for quite some time by the looks of it. Interesting landscaping. Tropical fish and a great assortment of chiclids. Beautiful birds. Lizards. A huge did tank with a swimming turtle. Peacocks. All and all a pretty nice place

This place is amazing! I LOVE it! So many different animals and fish that you do not see at your every day pet store. Truly one of a kind! Staff are very helpful. Also, they feed the animals on Fridays @ 6 p.m. and you get to watch! My kids LOVE it! You must visit this store!

Absolutely love this place! Dont like that some of the animals aint for sale, like there tiny little turtles but other than that, its great, and they got a duck that loves to be held and follows you around

It use to b free to c the few animals they have. Now they r charging $3 a person which is crazy the zoo is only $8 and it has all kinds of animals the only thing that is worth seeing is the Perry dogs

This place is beautiful its like going to a zoo or an aquarium.. They have exotic animals. They sell reptiles, fish , hamsters, mice, birds and feeder bugs. They offer a little of everything.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I absolutely love this place. And my son loves to go there. They have so much to do for kids. His favorite thing is to feed the peacocks. Lol
