I had to buy gear for 2 teens for a Yosemite backpacking trip . The Cordova store made it a pleasure & I was really dreading it. Salesperson Metcalf stayed with us for over an hour, working through our list. He was polite and extremely helpful. The manager Tyler also helped us, cheerfully recommending hiking boot options based on his extensive hiking experiences around the world. The next day we decided to go up a half size in the boot & Metcalf, Cayley & Tyler took care of it in a matter of minutes! It was a fantastic experience.

For bike maintenance, go somewhere else. Brought my road bike there because it needed a new chain and some routine maintenance. I asked them to replace the chain and clean up the drive train. When I got it back, it did have a new chain but that was literally all they did to it. They said the $50 "Check over" did not cover cleaning. The limit screws were also not adjusted for the new chain. I ended up just doing it myself. Next time I will go to Victory Bicycle Studio.

I would not bring a bike with SRAM components to this shop. I got the runaround on why they couldnt get my SRAM Rival to shift more smoothly - tried to get me to upgrade to Shimano 105 for $120. All this along with the service being 3 days late and my entire frame smeared in old grease. I was less than pleased. Ill continue to drive a little farther to Bikes Plus Gtown or the Peddler in Southaven. Great mechanics and you get it back looking clean and like new.

My daughter needed a tire for her jogger type stroller. It was critical for her to get it that day as she was flying to DC the next morning with 4 young children. Although Outdoors Inc.did not have a tire in stock anywhere, the salesman made an executive decision and removed the tire off the floor model stroller and gave it to her. She was so grateful, and I am very impressed with that type of customer service. Thank you so much ! Gary H

The guy at Outdoors Inc was very helpful and patient with me on my stupid questions. He really took time with me to make sure I had all my questions answered and had the right stuff I needed. I would recommend them highly based on my experience.
