This rental company is absolutely by far the best place I have ever been to. Best customer service. Extremely patient with my "Julie" group. Very accommodating. It was my first time at the duck river. Way better than any of those places on the Harpeth. Their kayaks are in excellent condition and they have so many to choose from. We didnt have to wait forever to be picked up like other places. They were there literally within 2 minutes after we took out. I wish I could stumble upon people as friendly as them everyday. Thank you so much for an amazing day!!!!! And you dont have to tip. They dont even ask or suggest it like most places do. But make sure you take care of the people who get you in and out. They honestly deserve it. Shout out to Emily and Shelby!

This place is great! We enjoyed a perfect kayak trip from beginning to end. So much better than any of the places on the Harpeth, its well worth the extra drive. Extremely clean facilities & equipment. Very comfortable kayaks. Easy in, easy out. Everyone is INCREDIBLY nice, patient, accommodating and helpful. They really go above and beyond. I really cant say enough great things about Higher Pursuits. Thank you for the best river experience weve ever had. We will be returning again and again.

Kayaked the Duck River Today. Some friends rented kayaks at Higher Pursuits...I brought my own. The ladies who own this place are class acts! They were well organized, friendly and highly professional. They hauled my kayak along with the others (for only $10) and drove me to the put-in spot and picked me up. Their kayaks were the best rentals I have ever seen! I will recommend them to everyone I know & I hope to see them again!

The best kayak experience I have ever had all over the country. The owners run a well organized operation. Great quality kayaks, they even offered waterproof boxes if needed. There is changing rooms that are clean and cleanest portable bathroom that I have ever seen ( you can definitely tell this place is run by people who love what they do and take pride in their business ). Will definitely use them again.

Really friendly staff and on top of transport to and from the river. They are the best kayak/canoe outfitters we have ever used. Also the office is close to the river so the transport only takes about 3 minutes to the river and about 10 minutes when coming back after your float. They really have their stuff together at this place!!!

What a great place to rent canoes and kayaks. Though we brought our own kayaks we rented one for our two girls to ride in. The staff was very friendly and was always there to help, thanks guys you were wonderful, will be back

Ive been to a couple of canoe/kayak places around TN, and this place is by far my favourite. The facility itself is well taken care of and super clean. The kayaks are some of the best ones Ive used. Highly recommend them!
