Let me describe the worst customer experience of my entire life. On February 11th I bought a small ironing board for $13.99 from Hardware City. The store was dirty and unorganized. Strange, I thought, how are they in business-they MUST sell only the highest quality products and have great customer service!!!!! Upon my return home, I attempted to use the ironing board and found it sub-par at best. I decided to return the ironing board the next day. On Sunday, I went rucking at Rotary Park. Afterwards, I stopped at Hardware City with my brand new ironing board and receipt in hand, full of hope and dreams of getting my $13.99 back. My dreams were crushed and my hopes were dashed as I entered the filthy cave of despair. Upon presenting my receipt and ironing board to the owner, she explained to me that because I did not have the original wrapping, she could only give me $10.00 back. She went on to explain that because she was not going to be able to re-sell the iron at full price, I was going to have to eat the difference, which is $3.99. I told her that she screwing over an active duty soldier. She was not concerned in the least. The only thing that she was remotely concerned about was eating her chicken noodle soup and saving her business $3.99. She would not even stop eating to talk to a unsatisfied customer. I then told her that I was never entering Hardware City unless she gave me a 100% refund. She STILL DID NOT CARE!!!!!! Her apathy was incredible, her resolve complete. Congratulations, you won, Hardware City. You can keep the money and the miniature ironing board. But you will never have my business again.

Horrible time and service with my riding lawnmower through this company. They were quick to take my money but took their time with my riding lawnmower and it still doesnt work properly. When I finally Picked up my lawnmower on Friday and returned to my home, the lawnmower would cut off. I tried several times starting it till I called and asked if they would look at it again. The mechanic said he would come to my house on Saturday. Saturday came and went without a return call. Called the mechanic on Sunday and he said he would come out Sunday afternoon. Sunday has come with no return phone call at this point. I will be requesting my money back and taking my lawnmower elsewhere and all future services to another location. No further business from me.

Hardware city is my favorite hardware store! Its nothing like other hardware stores that are usually large companies located nation-wide. This hardware store is actually family owned! The owners and employees really care about the customers are SO knowledgeable. One day I wandered around lowes for 45 minutes and not a single employee asked if I need help. After I get fed up of not finding what I needed, I asked an employee and they also had no idea. The employee did not even ask a coworker where the item could be! After this occurrence Ive always shopped at hardware city, where they have been very accommodating! Joni has helped me with so many projects. That woman is a hardware genius.

Ok. First let me start. I came to amerika. and really like it lots!!! Girls very NICE! Ok. So I was sad because have trouble with home toilet! No Bathroom VERY BAD! Ok. So I come to Hardware of City. and I ask for toilet. They help me SOOOOO Much! Even though my English so good! Very friendly! Ok. So next a few week later. My light break in bathroom! Oh Shootie Again cant go bathroom! So I go back to here. Very friendly!!! Help me get my light fixed real fast! And. Staff know very much things! So if you have toilet break or light go bad. I recommend you go to the Hardware of City!!!

Great small engine repair shop. The usually have everything I have needed in stock. Cluttered store because they have a wide variety of items in a smaller sized store. If you need something a bit out of the ordinary this is a good place to look.

I dont want to think that they discriminate but every time I go I get the same service.....None! If you are a person of color you are not offered help as quick or at all. This is just my opinion based on several visits.
