A big THANK YOU to Chad and his assistant/store manager for selling me an awesome paddleboard and introducing me to a sport that I now love!! His manager took the time to get to know my needs and help me find a paddleboard that would best suit me as a mom with young kids (who sometimes sit on the board with me while I take them for a paddleboard ride), and as a person who has had 5 major knee surgeries, and can no longer kneel. She understood that I would need to get up on the paddleboard differently than most because of my knees and she gave me tips about how to balance better on the board and how to paddle more efficiently. Most importantly, she taught me how to properly care for the paddleboard. I live in Southern Charlotte and I try to get out on my paddleboard once a week, usually at Mountain Island Lake, which is safe, free, only 35 minutes from my house and has a wonderful launch area for paddleboards, canoes and kayaks called Gar landing.

Chad is a surfer fully committed to the sport, helping young kids pick their first board and old guys, like me, find the right longboard. He is totally knowledgeable and professional and, at the same time, laid-back and very cool.
