The food is good and the wait staff and chef services were great. However, a bizarre incident sent my friends chair falling through a floor tile with her in it! We thought the leg of the chair had broken but the tile was weak in that spot, possibly from a recent tile repair. I say that because a server told us the tile had broken just the night previously and a server fell through the tile. The amount of space between the main floor tile and the subflooring was a more than 12 inches, so if a patron had fallen through the floor while walking it could have been more serious than it was for my friend. As it was, falling from a seated position, she ruined her pastel dress and hurt her side. Management tried to downplay it all and was reluctant to compensate my friend for her dress. My friend was comped for her meal and I recd 20% off mine. They just do not realize what a liability issue they have there with the faulty tile floor. The faulty tile at issue is in the middle of the restaurant in the main walkway between all the tables. Im still shocked this happened and their lack of concern and/or understanding as to their possible liability if that is not taken care of professionally.

Nice mall with several anchors. Dillards, Belk, Sears and JCPENNEY. There is a Dicks sports too. Many other smaller store are available. The food court is limited. They have a lot of stands/kiosks in the corridors that restrict the flow of people a little. I read that they had a few security issues in the parking lot. I personally never had a problem there. The movie theater is great with seats that you can almost sleep on. All seats are by reservation so you know exactly where you will sit. Five stars for the theater. It is nice to walk and browse especially when its too hot outside. I will keep going there for the big stores. There are also many restaurants right outside the mall. Three stars for too many stands & kiosks in the corridors, the security issues and the limited food court choices. Still its a clean pleasant place.

This is the main mall in myrtle beach. There is ample parking and even has a small outside shopping area. The location is generally clean and the bathrooms are decently clean. In the food court there are some really nice unisex/gaily bathrooms and as a transwoman thats appreciated to have the option. The mall closes really early on Sunday, which is unfortunate because Ive seen entire parking lots full of people get turned away because the mall closed too early. The mall is fixing the place up right now and has all the usual stores youd expect with a few smaller and unique vendors. I would like to see more of a security presence, longer Sunday hours, more restaurants, and some proper motorcycle parking would be a plus. The movie theater here is awesome! Theyre even adding in leather sofas!

Best mall on the Grand Strand (apart from the Inlet Square Mall), complete with food court and movie theater. If you are reading this in December, hurry on over and see if you can catch Santa at his Beach House at the center of the mall. The Belk is my favorite store but Im partial to modern. southern. style so I wont speak for the group. Be careful for the Russian ladies at the kiosks, do not make eye contact, ESPECIALLY if theyre pretty. They will ruin your life and make you buy little robot dogs for your future Russian children. I speak from experience but not my own experience, this happened to a friend of mine in Russia

Coastal Grand Mall is owned by Burroughs & Chapin Corporation the rent for the stores is outrageous and the stores are forced to raise their prices to try to pay the rent placing most of the merchandise in the Sky High category just not a good place to go a lot of stores are closing theres a big turnover in businesses and people look like theyre attending a funeral not going to work no ones happy more of a place to rip off the tourist and it take every single penny they can and give his little back as possible trust me there are better places to shop

Went to get a movie at fye at the mall and the lady was a smart butt and more worried about shipping and talking to coworkers instead of helping me check out. Wont be back any time soon. So when I was walking up to check out she says "guess Ill help you right here" then she processed to talk to coworker while I stand there and waited 10 minutes with out her logging into register. Then after that she finally decided to log into register after finishing her conversation with coworker. I just said no thats fine I just want to get my movie thats it.

This is a small, one story mall with a tiny selection of stores. Coastal grand has your basic stores and some stores you have never heard of filled with junk. This mall has jcpenney, belk, hollister, pacsun, Abercrombie, ulta, Claires and zumiez. I dont hate this mall, Im just used to much bigger ones filled with great stores. Also, the bathrooms often smell terrible, and have no toilet paper.

I love the stores in this mall but am tired of being harassed by the people working in the kiosks. Every time I am in the mall they try to stop me and when I politely say I do not have time they give me a dirty look. If I say I cant stop because my husband is waiting, they say he can wait. Enough is enough!!! Yesterday I was stopped 3 times. These people limit my trips to the mall.

The mall has plenty of stores and thats good. My main issue with the mall is how crowded it always is. I actually try to avoid coming here as much as possible. Thats not to say it isnt a good mall but if you think youre gonna be in and out, youre wrong. Still, its the best mall in the area and although personally as a local I dont go here often i suppose tourists might enjoy it.

Had an issue at DTLR. The sales clerk refused to sell a shoe that was marked $25. She said it was done in error. Also as I was looking for my bank card to make a purchase, she began another customers transaction which required them to reach over me. By this time, I was highly irritated and walked out leaving my items. Customer service sucks at this DTLR.

Its a nice mall, but pretty standard as far as malls go. Nothing too special, but there are a few specialty places. Otherwise its comparable to most malls with a sea of Hollister, Abercrombie, Claires, and typical anchors like JCPenney. I would only recommend going here if you live in the area or you come from a place with a substandard mall.

Its a fun place with a wonderful community of people! The only thing I really have to deduct points for is the stall patrons that if you lock eyes with them even by accident theyll take it as HEY THIS GUY WANTS ME TO TELL HIM ABOUT EVERYTHING! Bah! But overall I love Coastal Grand Mall. It makes for a wonderful meetup place with my friends.

I like this mall its the fanciest that myrtle has to offer. the only thing its missing is an apple store, but thats an apple decision. theyve done a nice job with it. it looks like every other mall in America and has the same stores, too. excellent Belks and jc penney, too. mngo in pennys and some upper scale shoes in Belks
