One of the last clean, safe and enjoyable malls in SW Pennsylvania. Westmoreland Mall years ago was one of many enclosed malls in in the SW Pa area. But the downturn in the economy since 2008 took its toll on the areas shopping malls. Most have turned into cavernous, empty hulks of their prior over the top decadent shrines of capitalism. If my kids were younger, I wouldnt allow them to go to most malls today past dark. Not so with Westmoreland Mall ! This beautiful mall is even surrounded by a thriving strip mall that includes everything one can imagine. Westmoreland mall has plenty of outside and inside free parking and is located on Rt 30 east just before the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. It has somehow thrived when the others have failed and deteriorated. It is anchored by Sears, and J.C. Penneys and has many specialty shops to please all tastes. The management team keeps the mall clean at all times and security is omnipresent. It is a fun and safe place to bring your family especially during the holiday season. Stop by when you are in the area, I think Westmoreland Mall will bring back a lot of memories of how shopping was a pleasure instead of a unsafe chore.

This mall is pretty nice. It doesnt have everything up to date but better than most within the tri county. Good foodcourt selection as well. You have Panera, Subway, Chick-Fil-A, Dairy Queen, Pittsburgh Popcorn, 2 Asian Restaurants, a Sandwich Joint and a Burrito Place (The Burrito Place will probably go under, not cause its bad; but because everything that takes that tenant space keeps going out of business.. Ive seen like 4-5 restaurants in that one space). Large selection of Department Stores, including some that arent around in most places anymore (Bon Ton). On top of that, there is a large selection of clothing stores ranging from babies to cheap to expensive, so theres selection for everyone. Only downsides are parking (tight and not a lot of spaces due to popularity) and the asian restaurants in the food court. I always get sick from eating at the one between the entrance and the burrito joint.

When My Wife & I lived in LATROBE Wed drive up to "WESTMORELAND MALL". We would go window browsing & We liked what We saw. So at "CHRISTMAS", Wed drive up & do some "CHRISTMAS SHOPPING" at "WESTMORELAND MALL". We were able to find some GREAT Gifts & GREAT Gift ideas. We even went to a MOVIE or two at the "WESTMORELAND MALL CINEMAS" over the HOLIDAYS. Years later, After My Wife and I MOVED back to PITTSBURGH, We DECIDED to take Our 3 Children for a RIDE up to "GREENGATE" & "WESTMORELAND MALL" for a DAY of SIGHTSEEING. We were SADDENED to see what had HAPPENED to "GREENGATE MALL", but were GLAD to see how "WESTMORELAND MALL" had been ALMOST COMPLETELY RENOVATED. It was BUSY when We came up, but ALL 3 KIDS were IMPRESSED by what THEY SAW & what WE REMEMBERED. "WM" had MORE stores & there was a "CLASSIC CAR SHOW" on Display that Day, Our Son Even WON a MODEL CAR for his bedroom at home.

Wow, this was a rough experience. I brought in an i-pad with cracked glass. A few days later, the new glass started to lift off the pad, so I brought it back. Picked it up, brought it home to find 1/4 of the touch screen was insensitive. Brought it back, and they never called. A week later, I call to ask about it and am told its finished. I go to pick it up and the home button is frozen, so I leave it there. Once again, no one calls me. Again I call and they tell me its done. Now, after 7 trips to the mall over this ipad, I have it back and 1/2 the screen stutters and drops your touch. Hmm, should I bring it back to them?

I have always enjoyed Dairy Queen, but the DQ at Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg, PA, was the worst DQ I ever visited. I wish there was a rating below 1 star because that was too good for the experience. I ordered the chicken tender dinner and was very surprised by how badly done it was. Although the chicken fingers were ok, the rest of the meal was very bad. The texas toast had a metallic taste, the french fries were limpy, and the gravy was thin and unappetizing. I was truly surprised since every other experience at DQ had always been positive.

I have fond memories of this mall from visiting often as a child, and Im happy to say its still a great mall today. I live in an area that most malls are equidistant from me and this is one of the better ones in the area. There is a great selection of stores and places to eat in the mall and nearby. Its clean and well maintained and seems to still be family friendly to this day, even on weekend evenings, especially since there is a chuck echeese attached for the kiddos.

Westmoreland Mall is one of the older malls in the area but it is also one of the cleanest that has a really nice and diverse assortment of retailers as well as more than one anchor retail establishments. There is adequate security and you can find everything from the mall walkers, young couples, serious shoppers and even those looking for a bite to eat in the food court. The mall also hosts different events throughout the year and they do a good job at staying relevant.

I used to work at All Gourmet , I loved it. You could always help someone find something , they are looking for or did not know, they were looking for, but they needed a gift. You can also give them a delicious taste of fudge, and You just might want to buy some, cause it is so darn tasty and it is a lovely atmosphere ! !! It was also, very nice just greeting the customers and hopefully, You brightened some of their days !

Westmoreland Mall has a wide variety of stores for anything you could imagine needing. Its easy to navigate and there are maps along the way. The food court also offers many options for snacks or a meal. In the middle of the store theres always something going on (depending on the time of year) from a small car show to outside vendors or a childrens section. They also host a light up night for the holidays!

A joke of a mall. Very limited-no higher end stores. Not much in the way of adult fashion unless you consider Macys higher end?! No Mac, no Nordstrom, no in betweens, not even a JCrew, Banana Rep, or Gap??? The food court is pretty sad too theres nothing but junk aside from a sad Panera Bread but I guess if you dont know any better I guess its above the pathetic mall that I experienced in Indiana PA.

Its a mall. What can you say about a mall? It has many stores and restaurants. Many of the same stores are located in many other malls across the USA. But if you need something, chances are youll find it there. Unfortunately, most of it is for women and children, not a whole lot for men. But thats okay.......... Its still nice occasionally going there, especially around the holidays.

The Boba Tea bar never has any worker in it, at least when I come. I walked past the bar and maybe half an hour later I decided to get a tea, when I went no one was there. In the Westmoreland Mall directory online, it says theyre open till 9. It is currently 7:20 and still no one there to serve me. The tea is good when someone is there to help you.
