So we looked long and hard for a nice place for dinner since were coming back home from CT to WI tired, hungry and in need of some good food. After extensive research on google for best restaurant in youngstown Ohio and reading all the reveiws on here, we decided to go..1st of all our waitress sucked it was her 1st day so i gave her a pass and left a tip anyways .However the food was mediocre, my potatoes were cold, the doughy crab stuffing was gross and to top it off i waited so long for some bread after being seated that i was litterally starving . The chard boiled dog meat (suposedly ribeye) was definitely not the best ive tasted in a 100 miles in reference to the other reviews below that persuaded me into the decision of going . My dog meat was slighly overcooked and my potatoes were cold. The creme brulee however was really good overall. p.s maybe this was the best steak within 100 miles but for m e ive definitely had alot better............................................... Oops !!wrong station square

Station Square used to have a wonderful shopping district with unique merchandise and interesting art, clubs and independently owned restaurants. Now its dead inside, empty corridors and all of the eating establishments are corporate owned, chain restaurants with subpar food and overpriced. Aside from the Grand Concourse, which is only grand due to its historical status and beautiful architecture. Station Square has lost its appeal to the locals. The proximity to the city and water probably make Station Square appealing to tourists, especially because the inclines, Ducky tours etc are hubbed there, but its charm and allure for locals has definitely seen better days.

Great place to eat. Plenty of food selections, love it! :) Only problem is for those who want to shop for clothing. Unless you want something sports related, youre better going to South Hills Village or even Ross Park Mall. Station square really doesnt sell clothes, even though it is considered a shopping center. Kind of dull at times but I like it. And I a, looking forward to the expansion across the street in the summer of 2017 and the major renovations that will take place in the shopping center in late 2017 or early 2018. I think it will bring new life and I cant wait to see what they do to the shopping center and the surrounding complex. :)

This is your typical tourist destination. But we were pleased by the openness of the area, and the convenience of access. You pay to park, but everything is a short walk from the parking. There are the typical restaurants youll find at every tourist spot, but the market was rather enjoyable, and the open-air space was lovely. We enjoyed watching/listening to the dancing fountains and music. We also picked up our Just Ducky Tour from here. After returning from the tour, we ate and shopped, then we strolled and took in the scenery and views on a beautiful day.

Nice shopping/food area right on the Monongahela river. Only negative was the fact that nothing but the Clipper Cafe is open before 11 AM on the weekends. For most folks this wont be an issue, but if youre coming from out of town for a sporting event at PNC or Heinz, somewhat disappointing. I was there 10/8 with my father-in-law for the Georgia Tech Pitt football (their homecoming weekend) game and traffic was a bit lighter than expected, so we arrived just before 10:30. Then spent the next half hour waiting for a bar/restaurant to open.

Everything closes so early! Our hopes for a late dinner were totally dashed...on a Saturday night! Not even bar food was available. There is NO night life... So, if you eat early and go to bed early, its ok, but, even on a Saturday night, after a Steelers preseason game, no one was open. We encountered many people searching for food late night at Station Square. Had to take a Lyft to a restaurant, significantly increasing our evenings expenditure.

We rode the horse drawn carriage to The Melting Pot where we celebrated granddaughters graduation. The selections are fantastic. The appetizer is 3 different bowls of cheese blends and raw veggies and artisan bread cubes. The main course has 3 different pots for dipping meat and more raw veggies. Dessert is 3 chocolate sauces with fruit and cake cubes to dip. It takes at least 2 hours, so dont be in a hurry if enjoying a meal there.

I loved the part where I got TOTALLY DRENCHED by the fountain. The music was excellent: both 80s and 90s and pop music. This is a great place to spend the day or even a few hours. The kids can run in the fountains stream of water while the parents can chill out and sing or hum some tunes from the 80s and 90s. Bessemer court is a great place to spend the day for both kids and parents.

For foodies this is a great place with special events such as Hard Rock Cafe Jams (concerts), pick-ups/drop-offs for tour groups (trolley, duck, etc). Unlike other destinations many of the people weve encountered werent very welcoming and appeared quite rude, but that may have been just the roll of the dice this time around, and not a good depiction of all native burghites.

My favorite mall ever. I come down to Pittsburgh from New Jersey often and I always stop at Station Square. I love the stores as I love the food and merchandise. I am a huge sports fan and I love the Steelers shop. I always ride the Monogahela Incline to Mount Washington or drive up to Mount Washington. I go with my dads friends from college who live in the area.

As far as good goes there is plenty around. As far as shopping goes this is just another dying shopping center. Do not make it a point to go there for that reason. There may be a whopping 5 stores open at any given time. It is how very very clean and well kept. If your hungry great! If your looking for merchandise just let it die in peace

Nice tourist venue that hosts many varied eateries with Houlihans being my favorite to an array of fun tours that includes electric assist bikes, amphibious vehicles, segways & the large clipper boat fleet. Very close to the inclines to Mt. Washington. While its glory days have currently passed, it is still an entertaining & relevant facility.

Station Square has gone down hill. The management there is pretty clueless. They constantly blocking the road with stupid free concerts for people that might buy a beer instead of making it easy for me to get to the restaurant where I will spend $200+. Really, I dont make many visits anymore. Absolutely poor customer service.

There is always parking available. I never had any problems with leaving my car here for 8 hours at a time. Pricing is questionable. I was being charged $9.00 some days, $8.00 other days for the same time in and out. Regardless it is inexpensive for parking and provides convenient access to the Smithfield bridge!

A tourist destination on the south side near the inclined. Take the train from downtown for $2.50 each way. There are several restaurants and several stores where you can get all of your Steelers gear. You will find older Steeler jerseys here as well. It is definitely worth checking out.

A fun place to go & spend the day, even if youre from the Pgh area. Lots of dining options with a great city view, or take a Ducky or Segway tour of the city. The Monongahela incline is right across the street, & the Duquesne incline is less than a mile away. Highly recommended!
