This mall is making a gradual comeback. Check out Players choice, with their fantastic retro games/comic selection! Not to mention their 80s/90s arcade! Also, if youre looking for a good chuckle check out the religious (spiritualist) personality cult outlet by JCP! Dialectical Materialism >>> idealist, metaphysical Spiritualism. Anyways, theres an amazing Model Train outlet that deserves appreciation and recognition for the intensity of labor that went into creating their artistic display. Bass Pro shop will keep you hooked for a while with solid prices and satisfactory customer service. Catch a flick at the cinema, its currently ran to adequate standards, which to be honest, is above average for most movie theaters. The food court, the heart of the mall, needs to be prioritized by the owners of the mall. The Animal Riders attracts enough of business that its what keeps the food court from completely going ghost town. The rent is apparently reasonable (for obvious reasons) so if youre looking to start a business or move one somewhere new, consider the mall as a new location. The mall is only lacking a few new stores/outlet, if they can gain some new shops, the food court too will gradually make a comeback. The food court just needs some unique choices that arent usually in a mall.

The mall itself is kind of terrible. I grew up in North Myrtle Beach and saw the mall change hands and names multiple times, and nobody seems to be able to get it right. The amount of unoccupied stores, kiosks, and restaurants is just depressing, but the people running the mall cant seem to figure out that their insane rent prices (which are elevated in a myopic attempt to recoup lost revenue every time a store closes) are why so many spots remain empty. There are some big name stores that run well, draw crowds, and keep the mall afloat like Bass Pro Shops, Books-A-Million, Belk, JC Penney, Victorias Secret, and a few of your other regular mall staples, but the point is that this is a mall in a popular tourist town. There should be no problem keeping the place packed; the only reason this problem exists is poor management.

I have worked in this Mall a long time, and now I own and manage a store here, I am excited for the changes that are coming and the direction of the Mall it self. I am writing this because anyone can write a review about their experience on here, and feed back is always good. Cant fix the problem unless we know about it. I encourage those who shop in the Myrtle Beach area to stop by and visit us. We have anchor stores as well a lot of "mom and pop shops". I cant speak for the mall, the other stores, or for anyone else, but I will say this, if you shop at Myrtle Beach Mall, come see us at Back-Yard Sports, LLC just across from Rubys Tuesdays, I promise I will do what I can to make your visit here worth the trip.

Nice clean Mall. As with all indoor malls, I believe their days are numbered, but while its still there it has some really nice stores. The shrinking Food Court has a decent selection and good food. With zillions of food choices in NMB its tough for any "food court" to make it. (Even Tanger has trouble keeping theirs rented.). The model train set up is awesome and could be a fun destination for young kids (8-80). Bass Pro had to close the Fish Company Restaurant, again a zillion food choices kinda killed it. The movie theater is nice and the store selection still good. Great rainy day destination. Belk is the main retail Department store and this store always looks great and has some deals too.

Well, during a crowded and hottest day of the summer so far, we drove there to avoid the heat, and on a Sunday, it was not crowded. I picked nice baby clothes at the Belkins home store, and a fathers day card at Hallmark, would have tried the nice smelling beef that was cooking at one of the restaurants in the food court if we hadnt had left overs. My son always disliking shopping enjoyed the animal scooter for a half hour. The decor of the mall is older, but over all, we were able to do what we wanted. If I were looking for higher end clothes, which I only need occasionally, I would have gone to the outlet stores, but it wasnt worth it in the 97 degree heat.

Half of the stores are closed and boarded up, no food court and not very clean. There were maybe 15 people in the entire mall while we were there for about an hour and half. We tried to return a few gifts to Belk and they were so rude we had to leave with no refund, return, or anything. Customer service was the worst I have ever seen in a major retail location. Never go to this Mall and definitely not the Belk located inside!

Not my choice of places to go to shop. A lot of stores closed down and the stores that ARE open.. not very impressed. This mall is usually pretty empty when it comes to people. Even the food court has pretty much shut down. My advice, dont waste your time going to this mall is you enjoy shopping. Experience it if you wish, but dont expect much at all if you end up going.

Books a million, Belk and Basspro keep this mall alive. If you still like truing on clothes and browsing books its for you. There are plenty of other shops for browsing as well and we enjoy movies there. Mall in general are becoming a thing of the past but this mall innovates with new things like small theaters, a scale train museum and more!

I visited the Bass Pro Shop. Its smaller than other Basses Ive been to, and less interesting. I asked a worker if they had multi-tools and she looked at me like I was an alien. I explained, and she sent me to the wrong section. I ended up back in her section where the multi-tools were kept.

Alright. Im giving this two stars because it has at least two good stores: Victorias Secret and Players Choice. This mall is huge and filled with nothing. The food court had 3 restaurants opened, 2 under construction and 1 just emptied out. Its old and Im desperate need of a total makeover.

Needs more stores. The owner of players choice said the new owners of the mall just kicked out so many stores and food shops. Its kinda like a ghost mall now. Very quite when me came on 9.4.2017. It is worth it just to come to the arcade at players choice. All games just 25 cents!

Very few stores for myrtle beach expectations. No teen stores besides victorias secret and bath and body works. The food court only had four stores we chose stir fry 88 and the service was horrible. We ended up feeling quite sick sat and down for awhile. Wont be shopping here again.

With some great friends at Hooters at the Myrtle Beach Mall Saturday night. My bill $14. I gave Kelsey a $5 tip...what did I just see posted in my account? $23. I will be paying Hooters a visit today with my receipts that you CAN see the $14 + $5 = $19 not $23!!

This mall is Meh. And Im assuming its very seasonal. Very low attractiveness with only one or two anchor stores. The rest are bland little local places. Such as furniture and gift shops. Not much to see except for books a million and bass pro shops.
