Gelato is not ice cream, its better--more flavorful and creamy. Pino Gelato has a great selection of flavors, and the staff is patient with samples. Its sort of hidden in the shops, so the first time you go youll probably miss it. Because its a little off the beaten path, you can usually get quick service here when the ice cream shops have long lines (like on Tuesday after Shannon Tanner and the fireworks).

It used to be my favorite restaurant on the island till this year where i found out they changed just about everything and now its not good anymore there pizza in a cone tastes cheap and used cheap products. The gelato now is too sweet/sour and my favorite, the raspberry sorbet, now has seeds everywhere in it. I dont care if i ever go back there again!!!

Yes, there is a difference. This stuff is so light & fluffy & delicious, to call it mere ice cream is an insult! The Mint Choco Chip is mmmmm... so good. If youre a veteran, you know to try more than 1 flavor at a time, so get creative. Not sure a bad combination exists.

Gelato was GREAT! Latte/Mocha was not. The service was friendly but someone needs to give them some barista training. The manager made our drinks to train the new employee... He needs the training. Go for the gelato not the coffee!

Recommended by a local pastor my favorite was the blood orange. Just bursting with flavor 7of us that night not a bad word from the bunch. Would definitely make it a regular spot when we return to HHI. Thanks Pastor Jason

This store is still open but just under new ownership. They now make all of the gelato in house and fresh daily. They also have homemade fudge which they make daily. Their new name will be "Angelato:

Turtle gelato is fantastic! the gentleman behind the counter was warm and friendly. They also have dairy free and vegan options which is fantastic, and dont forget the homemade fudge!

Delicious gelato! So many flavors to choose from! The service was very nice. We rode our bikes there, and enjoyed an evening dessert. Pistachio and Amaretto Cherry were amazing!
