Been a Nordstrom customer since 2006. Purchased Cole Haan dress shoes that started separating after two months. Manager wont take them back as theyve been worn. Problem is that Nordstrom Rack may be peddling products that are known to have high defective rates (ie. - my Cole Haan shoes) without selling "as is". Pretty good deal for them and the manufacturer as they can fire sell the products without any liability on the backend (due to "only unworn merchandise" return policy). As the consumer, you lose. You are on your own if your purchase is defective. Nordstrom Rack has lost my business. Update 7/16/17: after tweeting about this in frustration I was contacted by the Nordstrom team on twitter. They contacted the store manager and she was willing to make an exception on the return for my defective shoes. They took back the defective shoes for a full refund. Ill continue to shop at Nordstrom Rack but will most likely purchase shoes from the full line Nordstrom store from now on due to this policy on defective products. Nordstroms full line half yearly sale ends up being about the same price as Nordstrom Racks discount.

Beautiful store, large selection. As with any of these types of stores, it will take some searching to find what you want. The prices are higher than other similar stores however, the plus size merchendise is near non existent. The store is well laid out, very clean, and a nice atmosphere. It is a cut above, which is expected from a Nordstrom, but the 5 start was downgraded to a 4 star because Ive been in the store for 20 minutes and have passed 7 employees with not one asking if they could help me with anything, in fact only one said hi. I dont doubt that theyre here to help, but if Im going to pay a premium, I expect premium service. Kia was the first one to acknowledge my being here, was very kind.

From what I had heard before ever going, this was supposed to be a nice, classy place. But when I finally went, it was a dirty, vastly overpriced, Burlington clone. Very disappointed & will never return.

I went to the store and the store manager was very rude and obnoxious. The selection of clothes is also scarce whenever i shop. The sales associates were sweet but that rude store manager has got to go.
