I took a handful of jewelry there in February. In April they called and said it was ready. I pick it up and two of the earrings werent even cleaned and there were blue spots around the diamonds. The necklace was not touched; there was still a knot in the chain from when I took it in. I brought home a pair of earrings and one of them was shinny and the other dull with brown spots. When I took it back in they said they could fix it, but in June when it was finally read, the earrings were even worse. I spoke with Mr. Gibson and he blamed it me saying I didnt take good care of the earrings. He never once apologized for what happened and turned his back on me and walked away during our conversation. I will never go back there and I advice you not to either.

They lost my wifes wedding ring..! After 2months of me calling to ask for it they finally admitted that they lost it. They offered to duplicate the ring but the replacement doesnt even come close to the original. Now they are trying to persuade me to accept a lesser ring because they dont want to pay for the ring. In fact I was told so whats the value of the 25yr old ring. No apologies no well work to resolve it I just a shut up and go away attitude. This happened back in August 2014 and its now December 2014 and they still havent resolved the issue, in fact Im being treated as if its my fault that they lost the ring. The main jeweler told me not to contact him anymore about the ring "He" lost. Baaad place to do business....! Not trust worthy...!

Owner, and Sales Gentlemen explained all the details, took their time to elaborate on the plan, the process, and advice to cover any variables. During my first experience at Gibson Jewelers, several customers walked in and also bragged about their lifelong experiences with this jeweler. I went here based on a trusted recommendation who stated "dont even think about going anywhere else". From the outstanding first experience, I returned shortly after to get a set of earrings, and will return for a custom designed engagement ring. Matter of fact, well get the wedding bands here too. Very reasonable pricing, yet competitive. Exceptional experience. Would recommend to everyone.

Gibsons was the first place I went to and I couldnt have been happier. I was shopping for an engagement ring earlier this summer and was given the best customer service. They ordered several different diamonds in my price range and slightly above and below, just to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. They even told me to shop around before they would sell me a ring to make sure I was completely happy with my purchase. I did, and nothing matched their willingness to please.

ONLY place to go for watch and jewelry repairs in Columbia. They offered me multiple repair options and even managed a factory replacement issue with Tag Heuer. Their prices are very reasonable, too. If you want expert repairs and an honest, knowledgeable staff, Gibson Jewelers is the only choice. Other jewelers in Columbia use Gibson so you know you can expect the highest quality.

I referred a friend that was very happy with her repair. Her antique (very large) bracelet was actually remade, almost from the base up. What amazing customer service! I went to Gibsons to have an item engraved; they called to consult with me on where to engrave the initials, then called to let me know my item was complete - two days ahead of schedule! And the pricing was the best Ive ever experienced. Cant rave enough about this store and its service!

I took him my ring and he indicated it would take 2 weeks. On days 64 he had not even started. I asked if he intended to fix it he got VERY rude and in a VERY NASTY tone said if i wanted to come and get it I could. So i did! I would NOT refer ANYONE to Mr. Gibson!!
