I have never left a bad review anywhere in my 28 years of living. I have had bad experience a lot of places in my life BUTTTTTTT what just happened was the worst.. I got engaged over the summer. I needed My ring sized and was revered to JF Hofstetter. My fiancé did not buy my ring from them he bought it from another store that was closing. The ring was gorgeous, an absolutely gorgeous ring. When I took my ring to JR Hofstetter to get it sized they did warn me the diamond might fall out because of the way the prongs were set so I said ok. My diamond fell out as they said it might. No big deal they warned me so I took it back and the son told me he could fix it by putting new prongs on it. He said it wouldnt look bad so I had them do it. When I got it back it looked horrible. It was crooked, it was completely uneven, it has a sharp cut in it.. it looks so so so so terrible. Mistakes happen people mess up I made several excuses but after some time I decided this was not how I was willing to let my ring look. I went back in there calm and respectful using only maam and sir to speak to them. Not once did I raise my voice. I didnt even demand for them to fix it for free as another jeweler told me I should. I explained to the mom what happened and she looked at my ring and said it was fine there isnt anything wrong with it. So I showed her. How can you not notice how uneven and terrible it looks. She got very offended by that and proceeded to begin screaming at me and telling me that "my ring was garbage in the first place and that they did the best they could with such a piece of garbage." Then the dad stepped in. I told them I dont want to cause drama I just want to fix my ring. I asked how can we work together to fix the problem. They respond with YELLING at me you cant fix anything that is garbage .. even after they said that not once did I yell back and scream back. I asked them to not yell at me and they said "see people like you is whats wrong. Youbring garbage in here and expect us to make it beautiful." Well my ring was beautiful before I gave them it to place the diamond back in.. They screamed at me told me to get out of their store that my ring was garbage then and it is still garbage they cant fix garbage. I was treated horribly and not once did I raise my voice back not once did I say anything bad about them except Im just not happy with how my ring looks now. I will never recommend anyone to go here they were so evil and mean and rude

I had my Grandmother Necklace re-strung. I wanted it to look like the picture when my grandmother wore the necklace. I was very disappointed. I had told them I wanted it re-done so that one day my daughter could wear it on her wedding day. I got it back and all you did was re-sting it did not had any more pearls or a new pearl for the center. Can not even wear it. I wanted it fix to look like the picture nothing. I really hate the add you have on the radio. When I picked the Necklace up I wanted to cry. I know the pearls are fake but it was my Grandmothers necklace. Very disappointed. Teresa Tiitto

The other reviews for this store might be posted by family and friends. My experience was the older grey haired guy that works there gave me a bad feeling. He was very unprofessional, using inappropriate language. He gave me the exact feeling that I got when a used car salesman was getting ready to rip me off.

We picked out my engagement ring here. The staff is extremely helpful, and the craftsmanship is exquisite. They arent a cookie cutter jewelry store, all the work is done in store, so you can have a one of a kind jewelry piece. We are definitely coming back to pick out our wedding bands.

Horrible my fiance was told by the owners that her ring was garbage after there failed attempt to reset the stone. She was yelled and screamed at and asked to leave the store.

They saved my ring after I crushed it on my finger very quickly and reasonably. I honestly think my ring looks better then when I bought it new.
