Dr. Loftis is a very caring and personable optometrist. However, beyond the eye examination, I just expected better. I paid a premium price for the glasses, but received less than premium service. The frames that I purchased were more than double the price that I would have paid at almost all of the places that the exact same frames were available on-line - thats my fault for not doing some research before making the purchase. They tell you that the prescriptions take between 7 and 10 days to return to the store. On the 10th day after my appointment, I went to the shop to inquire only to find out that the glasses had been there, but they hadnt "gotten around to calling me." Similar experience with the second prescription (10th day and still no glasses). I dont mind paying a premium to support local businesses. Its just that I dont feel that this local business should my take patronage for granted. Charge fair prices and provide the service that you wouldnt get if you were to shop online.
