RESPONSE to Owner RESPONSE: Another total MASSIVE LIE!!!!! Read his owner response to earlier comments to my son...... He thought I wrote the REVIEW.... This Guy is a TRUE NARCISSIST!!!!!!!!!! There is much more to this story than he is staying, and for him to say he did not lose his temper scream about not selling Chinese Junk and Hang up on me, Total Misrepresentation..... Anyone who reads this needs to understand that this guy is NOT HONEST. He Told my son to call him if he had a potential scooter, and he would give him an honest recommendation. My son saw an ad on Craigs List, the seller told him to call Caleb to verify that it was a good scooter. Lucas called Caleb, Caleb said that it was a good buy. However, he intentionally had misled, because he had just sold the seller a $2500 new scooter. During our conversation, after the fact, he told me what a bad bike it was because he had worked on it before from 3 previous owners. He explained all of the modifications and that it could not be fixed. HE NEVER revealed this information to my son when he called for advise, because his "client" just purchased the new scooter. Then when my son rode the scooter and it broke within the first mile of riding it, my son sent a text to the guy he purchased the scooter from. This gentleman immediately contacted Caleb to inform him. Caleb said to him not to worry, because it is no longer your problem. But it gets worse. Caleb, knowing that he could not fix it, took the scooter in and charged an additional $184 for parts and labor, and THE SCOOTER still is not FIXED!!!!! He knows the whole story, that is why he was so VICIOUS with me, But, for every time he KNOWS he is wrong, he will blame on someone else......TRUE NARCISSIST Tread very carefully with this guy UNPROFESSIONAL and THREATENED me over the phone. I received a phone call on my cell from Caleb. I was not able to take the call, but as soon as I was able, called him back. He answered the phone and immediately began to berate me telling me to "MAN UP" and threatening me to "COME BY MY SHOP AND TRY shaking HIS HAND". He would not allow me to talk, so that I could explain that 1). I did not write a review about his service; and 2) I do not even live or work in South Carolina. Because of the aggressive manner and tone of his voice, I could not get a word in edgewise to explain that to him. Finally, he ranted and raved about how he was not a liar, and that he does not sell "Chinese Junk" Finally, he screamed that he does not have any time to "waste" on me, and he was going to sell a customer a $4500 scooter-Then abruptly hung up the phone. I tried to call later, but he would not answer, so that I could explain that I did not write the review. As a retired Army Colonel with 28 years of service, my experience has shown me that people who act in this unprofessional and aggressive manner are hiding something. And when they try to insist how they "do not lie", that is a sign indicating that they are covering up the fact that they DO!!! SCOOTER STOP IS THE BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR SCOOTER IN CHARLESTON PERIOD. MY NAME IS JAMES SEABROOK AND I HAD BOUGHT A USED SCOOTER AND IT BROKE DOWN ON ME.MY WIFE AND I PUSHED THIS PIECE OF JUNK FOR A COUPLE MILES WHEN CALEB FROM SCOOTER STOP JUST HAPPENED TO BE DRIVING BY. HE IMMEDIATELY OFFERED HELP AND GOT OLD SCOOTER TO HIS SHOP. AFTER CAREFUL REVIEW OF MY MOPED HE GAVE ME HIS PROFESSIONAL OPINION THAT I HAD BOUGHT A LEMON AND HE WAS NOT IN GOOD CONSCIOUS LET ME KEEP SPENDING MONEY TO FIX THIS NIGHTMARE. HE SET ME UP WITH A GOOD DEAL (CANT TELL THE DEAL BECAUSE RESULTS MAY VARY LOL) AND I AM HAPPY WITH MY BRAND SPANKING NEW SCOOTER FROM THE SCOOTER STOP. EXPERT SERVICE, AND WORRY-FREE RIDING ARE JUST A FEW OF THE GOOD QUALITIES THAT CALEB REPRESENTS. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT SC STATE LAWS, AND DOWN RIGHT GOOD PERSON. HE HELPED ME OUT OF JAM AND I WILL GO NOWHERE ELSE. GOOD SCOOTER, GOOD STORE, GOOD TIMES, GOOD RIDING. WILL BE WORKING ON GETTING A MATCHING SCOOTER FOR MY WIFE RENEE AND THE KIDS. Thank you Caleb from the Scooter Stop! I was visiting from Montana to help my daughter who broke her leg and couldnt walk for 6 weeks. Her only mode of transportation was her scooter, which desperately needed work. After 3 calls to another local Moped shop, who were rude to me on the phone after I told them I needed repair work done and then never returned my calls, I called Caleb at Scooter Stop. (By the way, this scooter wasnt purchased from either of these shops.) Caleb made a trip over after his shop hours to pick up the scooter, called the next day with a detailed estimate of the work needed, did the work that same day (including some other things that came up while working on it that he didnt charge me for, since he had already given me an estimate and knew our situation), and delivered it back to us the same evening! It starts and runs like a champ, and he was more than fair with his prices, as well as very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain things. I cant say enough. You are lucky to have him in Charleston!

I bought my moped there a little over a year ago. I chose the Scooter Stop because of the perks. The free oil changes for life and bulb replacement.please keep in mind I live a good 30 to 40 minutes away from there.Since then I have put an excess of 19000 miles on it and they change my oil every 1000 miles free of charge and its never an issue. On Monday 3-31-14 my drive belt snapped on me because I didnt listen to Caleb at the shop when he warned me to change it. I was stranded at wendys parking lot and called Caleb at Scooter Stop to ask him how to get it there to fix the problem. He told me he would be there later that night after the store closed to pick it up and he would get it fixed for me. That is exactly what he did. The next morning he called me after the inspection and told me the estimate and i gave him the ok. 3 hours later he called me and I was back on the road.If anyone out there wants to get a moped or scooter I highly recommend the Scooter Stop. Great people and perfect customer service.Thanks again Caleb and crew for everything.

My moped was a lost cause and for almost two years it remained an unsolvable mystery as to what the hell was wrong with it. Once I finally decided to throw up my hands and admit defeat (which is not an easy task on a minimum wage budget) I started calling around for anyone willing enough take on the challenge. Calling around is always an extreme pain, except for when I gave Scooter-Stop a try. Caleb (the store manager) informed me that he could just come pick up my moped and take it back to his shop, I asked "How much?", he tells me "Nah, its free.", so I said "Whaaaaa!?!". If you are having ANY problems with your moped and need someone who knows what their doing to take over, I strongly suggest giving the Scooter-Stop a call. Ask for Caleb, because I couldnt be more pleased with the amount of excellent service that he provided. In just a days work, and for a fee that is reasonable for a guy goin to college, and workin a fast-food job, I HIGHLY suggest anyone with a busted moped to give them a call, and tell Caleb that CJ said "Whats up?".
