I went into the store today, I had a very kind lady helping me. I was taking some time because I was choosing a hair weave and I was a little indecisive on what color I should chose. As the nice woman continued helping me another lady(employee) walked towards us and she told the other woman she would "take over from here". I asked to see a few items to compare it to my natural hair color, Every time the nice woman tried to get something for me the other employee pulled her back and told her "no, she can get it herself". I asked if she can hold up the hair weave she was holding and she threw it on the table, i asked if she can comb it so I can see how it would look if i had it on she refused to comb it. After getting upset, I asked the meaner lady why was it such a problem for the other woman to help me. Is it a big deal if she provided service to me? there was no one else in the store to help. The woman told me I can look at hair in the front of the store and stop looking behind the counter, Why would I not want to explore my options? The woman then said to me "oh, youre not going to buy an $80.00 pack of hair, you can go to the front of the store with the $20 ones" "you can look in the front of the store or you can get out". It was such a shame that is how I was treated. Yes, I am black, a college student and a manager at Nordstroms with well earned money, and only believe in buying quality even if it is high priced. ve been a faithful customer to that store for over 2 years and there are plenty of times I spent more than just $80 in the store. The woman insisted because I was black I wasnt going to buy anything behind the counter, I will NEVER give this store any of my money or my business ever again.

These people are awesome. So friendly and helpful. Honestly, most wig shops are rip offs, charging 400.00 for a wig and up. They all say they support cancer patients. Yeah right, Im a cancer patient and I think its horrible they get away with charging that much. This place has a huge selection of human and synthetic hair with prices starting at 30 bucks. The owner and his wife have been in business for 30 years. I had a nice conversation with them. She even gave me the wig caps for free with my purchase. You do have to pay 1.00 to try on the wigs for the wig cap, but I respect that. You dont want to try something on thats been on other peoples head. Worth the trip. Wish I came here first.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I went in and told the people I needed a closure that was 14 to 16 inches long the lady sold me one and when I got to my hairdresser it was about 10 inches then I go back to get one of less quality which was a different price amount. The lady told me since I did not pay cash I could not get money back I would have to have it in store credit of $53.50 which doesnt make sense because I use debit and debit is the same as cash I will never shop at this place again and hopefully I can sell the stupid in-store credit to someone. This is no way to run a business when I bought the product no less than 20 minutes before returning.

I dont appreciate being followed during my shopping experience. I am a 30-something professional who makes an honest living and dont need to steal to get what I need. Its sad that this store has a great percentage of minority customers who bring them sales but they still treat them like criminals. I will not be one of those customers. There are other beauty supply stores with much better customer service. If you dont like to be profiled while shopping then I encourage you not to shop here.

I called to see how much blonde clip in extensions range from real hair 18 inch and he said come in and look for yourself. I advised him i live an hour away i want to just get an idea on price. He said u will just have to come in very rudely. I said could you just please give me around the price they start at and he said soooo meanly come in and do it yourself and than hung up the phone on me. Thats horriable customer service.

Its nice and organized. I can easily find what I need. The setup is like their old store, Two Brothers in downtown Providence. It cheap and they have everything in any color. I go to get hair extensions because I braid my own hair. If I want any color, they got it.

From Someone Who From Boston I Got a Say This Hair Store A Bit Pricey! Certain Things I Just Dont Bother Buying Cause I Know I Can Get It Cheaper In Boston. But Other Than That They Alright!
