The Providence place is wonderful and very clean! The emeployies at journeys were very nice and act like they are your best friends. The staff everywhere is really nice and the Lego store is absoultly amazing being able to design 3 custom figures and sets. They also have a variety of food places in the food court and small or large tables. They could however close on days of blizzards its very dangerous for their workers to be working on such cold days and its so dangerous to be out in such a storm. We all have to remind the providence place that we do live in Rhode Island where it can get very cold and weather can become a bit dangerous. One more thing is that they have the food court right under Dave and busters its very annoying to hear parents yelling at their kids to come or just plain kids throwing tantrums.Kids also running up and down the escalators are very annoying because I tripped over them almost a dozen times! The parking is also a bit cramped and they need more security out there dozens of people park in handcappied spots with that thingy or no sticker or anything to tell that they are handicapped or those people I see get out of the car and are defiently not handicapped its a really bad thing to do and we need to prevent this because what if someone is handicapped and they cant find a close spot to the mall!

As far as malls go, this hits a 5 point rating because its not only a mall but a destination. Plenty of parking and lots of choices of places to shop. Movies theater, IMAX, Dave & Buster, great restaurants. Best part is, you can travel without going outside to the Convention Center, The Westin Hotel, and the Dunkin Donuts Center. The mall not only has a river that goes under it, but Amtrak which stops right across the street. Walking distance to Water Fire and many other attractions in the city. Bathrooms are very clean, as well as the mall in general, well maintained. The Parking has improved with an electronic feature that lets you know what space is available by a red or green light illuminating above the space showing vacancy. Each level has an electronic board showing you how many space available on that given level. Lastly, if you forget where you parked, your ticket will let you know, because when you enter a space it is recorded with a camera linked to the ticket and plate of your car. Just inset your ticket into a info center in the mall and it will tell you where you parked. Again... a SOLID 5 Star rating.

The small needs a serious revamp I know everyone wants to talk about it being this amazing place but believe me it may have been a few years ago but times of changed and they have change fast. The parking situation is backwards they should keep the first half an hour free that would be the modern innovative approach and perspective and kinder way of going about it. They should have different paying machines for the actual parking as well they still only have two machines you have to walk up to. To me? Unacceptable. The parking at South teams the place to stars. There was construction going on and it was really loud in the garage which made driving at night a little terrifying and I thought the place might implode. Thats a little dramatic but hey then again you never know that stuff does happen! The shops are also dated and I didnt see anything innovated in the food area either I mean yes we all love the typical mall experience but even for me? Someone that doesnt go a lot? You think Id be excited about the "mall experience" but it just seemed like I was walking through 2001 all over again

Despite its enormous capacity and IMAX theater, this is one of the worst malls, ever. Most of the stores are prestigious, over-priced hipster stores. There is an Apple store that is packed tighter than a sardine can from sunrise to sunset. The food court stinks. No, literally it smells. The food selection is mediocre. The mall itself, despite not being that old, is quite atrocious in appearance. The windows which overlook Providence dont appear to get washed often, usually seen clad with fingerprints and smears. I once saw an impression against the glass of an inappropriate body part, so I wouldnt lean my face too close if I were you. Lastly, the parking is an absolute nightmare. The garage is like a labyrinth of torture. The ceilings are super low even by mall garage standards. And of course since its Providence you have to pay to park your car. Even if you dont buy anything you have to spend money.

Considering typical malls in the Rhode Island/ Southern Mass. area, this mall is massive. One thing for sure is if you dont like city crowds, this isnt the mall for you. Being that though, its a pretty great mall. You can quite literally spend all day here with all the different stores and anchor stores it has- some you cant find in other malls close by. The food court offers great options too, with options like Popeyes and Johnny Rockets, and theres plenty of great surrounding restaurants at the bottom of the mall if that doesnt work for you. Dave and Busters, while expensive, is also good family fun. Also worth noting the different floors and even some stores are accessible through the parking garage, which is really convenient. Nice mall overall.

Anyone whos been here will tell you, the number one complaint is that awful monstrosity of a parking garage. Its confusing, theyve tried to reconfigure it at least twice, and it still sucks, and will always suck. They waffle back and forth on parking prices, and as of now its free for the first two hours, which is good given the current money grabbing climate in the city. Stores are numerous and theres a good selection of options, however they are generally stores in the higher end of the retail spectrum. A couple of large chain restaurants, and a decent food court. Last time we went to grab a quick bite the staff couldnt keep up with cleaning the tables in the food court. The malls ok, but never my first choice for a shopping outting.

OK mall but, with few exceptions, only has the "standard" set of mall stores. Located in an urban setting, you have to pay to park with apparently no free options. Parking charge is not high but the exit queue can be long. One can only imagine what its like at Christmas! We also found garage confusing but we were first timers. The mall is beautiful with three levels and escalators, brightly lit and nicely decorated. The stores tend to be less expensive the higher up you go with Tiffanys on level 1, Kays on level 2, etc. Anchor stores (Macys, Nordstrom) cross all three levels so are impressively large. Food court is typical with usual emphasis on Asian offerings. The one bright spot for dining is the Cafe in Nordstroms.

I absolutely hate this place. Yes, paying for parking is annoying, but understandable. The bigger problem is the parking garage that was clearly designed by a British architectural drop-out. For some reason, traffic flows backwards (you drive on the left side) which is nightmarishly confusing. The good? news is that they have recently corrected this idiosyncrasy. Somehow the correction is even more confusing, but hopefully that is temporary. During the holiday it is impossible to get out of this place in under an hour. One time, I spent an hour trying to get into the mall, just to turn around and leave. The only reason I ever go is to visit the Lego Store and see the occasional movie.
