I came to the Middletown store about three months ago to make the switch from Verizon and get a new phone (Samsung Galaxy S8). I was initially very impressed by the customer service and havent had too many issues with T-Mobile coverage. I was assured by the salesman that the phone came with full insurance for an entire year so I didnt need to purchase additional coverage at that time. I asked directly if that year of coverage included broken screens because this 16 square inch glass rectangle makes me a little skeptical of accidental drops. He reiterated that any issues with the phone would be covered for that year. Sweet! Fast forward to a few days ago. Sure enough, I accidently dropped my phone from about a foot. The screen shattered epically. Were talking spiderweb cracks across the whole thing with shards falling off. Youd think I threw it on the concrete but nope...just a short fall - in an Otter case, nonetheless. Took the phone to T-mobile today and was told since I didnt have insurance, it wasnt covered even though just 3 months prior, I was told otherwise by the same store (different salesman). Their next recommendation was to "just buy a new phone." I wish I had $750 burning a hole in my pocket, fellas. Their next idea was to get it fixed at Staples...Staples isnt yet stocked to fix new Galaxies. Friendly staff, decent coverage, and cheaper prices than other cell providers Ive used. Just make sure you get the insurance, regardless of what the sales representative tells you. Ill take this issue higher because the staff at Middletown were misleading. Whether or not that was intentional is irrelevant. What matters is they dont fully understand their own policies and that costs customers significant $$$, even when dummies like me accidently drop their fragile phones.

I cannot say enough good things about Pat. I had gone into the store last week to pick up my replacement phone....Even though it had been a few days the phone had still not arrived. My phone had a known bug and was still under warranty. I was incredibly irritated that a known issues, solution meant I needed to go without for more than a couple of days...Anyway Pat made it his mission to make sure I left satisfied. I was given a loaner phone and his personal charger to get me through the weekend. ...He even went a step ahead and texts me updates regarding the matter (the phone was back ordered) If it were not for Pat I would have taken my business elsewhere. Thank you again Pat. We need more Pats!

I went to the Middletown RI branch at 6:55 the door was locked people were inside( employees and customers), I knocked on the door and the t-mobile girl looked at me and quickly turned around. The store hours on the door said they were open to 7. I will be switching to another carrier first thing Monday morning. I am a business customer with over 7 lines, I pay my phone bills on time every month, I will not tolerate bad business practice, if a customer came into my business 5 minutes before closing my employees would gladly help the customer. I am extremely disappointed with t-mobiles customer service.

good service, and sales men, and TMobile is the best option out there as far as Best service for the best price. they offer variety as well as easy setup, or switch over from other carries, and are the only Provider who offers a Unlimeted package affordably.

The store manager does not have customer service skills. He is short with customers and often borders on rude. The other employee with a beard is nice.
