Do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Warning: this is not a verizon wireless store. It is a wireless "zone" which means they can sell verizon wireless products but they operate independently. I purchased 2 smart phones with 1 year warantees and bought an additional 2 year warantee for each so that if anything ever happened to these phones I would be covered. I ended up having an issue with the iPhone. The speaker wasnt working. The store told me that "it was a defect in the phone" and that I would receive a new phone at no cost. Three weeks later I was told I would be charged $200. When I asked for the orginal phone back in that case they would not comply. When I asked to use my warranty, they said it was "too late". This store used to be good and I felt like I was take care of under old management (Manager Ralph - see other poster). Current manager Josh Kidd has no interest in keeping his customers happy or making smart business decisions to keep existing customers. Do yourself a favor and if you do want to get a Verizon phone, take the ride to the Seekonk store, which is an actual Verizon Wireless store. Ill be going with a different carrier all together.

I will not step foot in this store again. I bought a Samsung in November and just missed the training session. I was promised twice that I was on the list to call for the next session, and that I would be called and notified of trainings in nearby locations. Here it is June, and I just attended a training at Verizon at 339 Bald Hill Rd. in Warwick. I found out about this training from corporate customer service whom I had to contact for a problem with my phone that the Barrington office couldnt fix even after three visits. It turned out to be a simple fix. When I called and asked Jared why he hadnt let me know about Warwicks training, he told me he had no way to know about other stores. Then, although he thanked me for calling, he very abruptly hung up without even saying goodbye. RUDE! And after the training in Warwick, I now realize that it would have been easy and would not have taken much time at all, for the Barrington staff to instruct me on the basics of an android. Instead, they would quickly just download some app for me, never explain how they did it, or how I could really use it. I am done with them.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Jared will sweet talk you to death and not come through when it matters. If you need Jared, his minions will come up with any excuse as to why he cant speak with you immediately. Theyre all liars. I was promised an iPhone 6 last week, but the "delivery was delayed, but well definitely have them tomorrow." Fishy, but ok. Saturday rolls around and no call, nothing. I call and find out they have none left. I talk to Jared the following week to ask what happened. "Ohhh, Im not sure what happened, we had a phone set aside for you. Well have more this Friday, come by!" Hesitantly, I gave him a second chance and for the second time, he let me down. Turns out, a woman that we know was able to get her iPhone 6 on the "delayed Friday." How did this happen?? "Ohhh, she pre-ordered the phone." So you lied to me about the delay?? Seekonk is not that far away, take the ride there and the Verizon PROFESSIONALS will help you there. There is no professionalism at all here at this location.

This store is the sickest excuse for a Verizon store. Not only is it not an actual Verizon store, they bring a horrible image to the brand of Verizon as a whole. The customer service is truly dispicable. They lie to customers to make purchases and then when your phone or product breaks they default on their word by saying "I never said that" Not only do they lie but they are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. The manager Jared Murphy needs to be fired immediatly. I have never encountered such a rude and disrespectful excuse for a human being, let alone a customer service representative for a company. When I asked why he went back on his word he first denied every saying it and then followed with "try and sue us, we are a billion dollar corporation." I am sorry but this Wireless Zone needs to be shut down immediatly. Theold management and employees such as Ralph were AMAZING! I asked Jared where they went and he said he fired them all. He is the scum of the earth and is a horrible image for Verizon.

I would give this place less than 1 star if I could. Jared Murphy, the "manager", is a total liar. Swore up and down the day I went in to switch plans that my bill would be way cheaper than what I currently had with another carrier. Just got the bill and its $30 MORE than my other carrier. He neglected to tell me there would be a monthly fee of $40 per line (an additional $80 a month that I did not know about). When I went in the store and called him on it, he tells me that we went over the bill and that he had told me about it. Well if we did why would I agree to a bill that would be MORE money that the one I currently have???

I would like to say thank you to the crew at Wireless Zone Barrington Jared,Chris and Joe. This is the second time i have been in this store and the service was excellent .Not only were they able to setup my work email but they were able to pair my bluetooth in my car for me. From now on i will be going to the store in my hometown .PS they have free coffee...... awesome

Was out shopping today at shaws getting ready for another snow storm and seen a verizon wireless store so i stopped in. My tablet has been having problems for the last two weeks and i needed help fast.Not only were they able to fix my problem they saved me money on my bill. Would recommened stopping in to see them.

Awesome experience today at Verizon wireless zone in Barrington. Jared Murphy went above and beyond to assist me in making my purchase and setting up my new number/plan. Customer service was excellent and definitely would return in the future!

Terrible customer service - was ¨assisted¨ by a Zach who talked to me like I was a complete idiot and was no help at all. I came in and said I lost my phone and all the employees started snickering. GO TO SEEKONK NOT HERE!!
