I was interested in an item that my local (Mechanicsburg, PA) TRU didnt have, so I called the York store before I drove the 45 minutes down there. First call: Phone menu, choose Toys R Us option, hold music, dead air, call dropped. Second call: Phone menu, choose Toys R Us option, hold music, get a person, ask if they have the item I was interested in in stock, get put on hold FOR 30 MINUTES, call dropped from their end. Third call: same as first call. Fourth call: same as first call. Fifth call: same as first call. Sixth call: actually get someone, they offer a lame excuse as to why I couldnt get a simple inventory question answered in a timely fashion before I drove almost an hour down to their store, I just hung up. Whoever was manning the phones between 11 am and noon on 11/27/2012 dropped the ball, horribly. Customer service like this is why brick and mortar stores are dying.

Great experience except for the return..... No reciept or gift reciept they only offer you a incredibly insulting reduced store credit amount if anything at all must be with in 90 days we were 3 days over the 90 day return period and they refused to do anything for us rvrb yhr manager said she coildnt help. Since we dont live close by we didnt get there in time and we were 3 days over the 90-day return period and they flat-out refused to help us. I would steer clear for any gift items.

Items were what we wanted, but checkout was another thing. There was a return or something going on and all the customer service people were there. Problem is, when there are 4 families waiting in line, they should open up more than one register. If Waiting in line doubles the amount of time youre in the store on a Friday night with 10 cars in the parking lot is your thing, then this is the place for you. Otherwise it would be good to avoid this Store.

Dont shop here, cashiers are all dumb n when they mess your transaction up your stuck at costumer service for 45 mins, then when you get home n realize they messed up too your in the store the next day for two hrs with nothing resloved.....buy from Walmart or Amazon.

I came looking for LEGO and boy do they have everything. They keep pretty well stocked and get new releases in quickly. However there prices are marked up horribly. Like 20%. So if you need something quick, go there, but if not, WAIT.

Parents bought a bike for me. Great selection BUT: since the only they had was the display, we had to pay more. They wouldnt waive the assembly fee even though they assembled it for the store, not us. Thats crappy!

I visited this store last year and found it to be an older vintage store. It is medium sized. The Store appears to have never been remodeled. Its good for the area as its the only store like that in the area.

DO NOT BUY FORMULA FROM HERE! I use similac neosure and found only 1 bottle that wasnt past the experiation date! The cashiers were almost offended when I asked why theyre selling expired formula.

Okay selection and the folks who work there are helpful. I typically head east towards Lancaster when we are looking for something and want a better selection for baby accoutrements.

Always a very clean and organized TRU, not to mention they have wonderful customer service, especially in the Video Game Dept. Never had a bad experience here.
