customer service is a joke. I bought a rc boat, during a 50% off sale ( all rc boats 50% off) on Saturday Aug. 20. when I got home and opened the package I quickly noticed that it was missing the pieces that held the body together. I also noticed that a sticker had been ripped off of the battery. upon further investigation I turned out the sticker from the battery was actually a piece of Velcro that was to keep the battery attached to the body of the boat. and finally the on off switch was rusty. since the closest toys r us is a 35-45 minute drive I decided to give it a shot, if at least it worked id be fine. but after charging the battery and hooking it up. nothing. I returned to the same toys r us, the NEXT afternoon Aug 21, 2016. The Customer service lady said (since I just wanted to exchange) just to go get another model off of the shelf. well the only had one more boat the same as the one I was returning. but... it too was missing parts, and had previously been returned (this time I checked in store.) so I choose a different rc boat thats non sale price was ten dollars cheaper than the boat originally purchased. so I returned to the customer service desk. after processing the return and scanning the new boat. she told me there was a balance of $7 and some change. but I thought, how? if the boat I purchased the night before was 50% off of $60.00, than how was there a balance of $7 and some change for a $50.00 boat with the same 50% DISCOUNT. Well Im told "Because the 50% OFF sale ended at midnight the night before, and the new sale was 25% off." I was told that they could not honor the same price i had gotten THE NIGHT BEFORE, and wouldnt be in this current situation if they had not RESTOCKED DEFECTIVE/PREVIOUSLY RETURNED MERCHANDISE. i asked to speak to a manager, so this manager told me the exact same thing. I tried to explain and make them understand that I was there The night before. and it was your defective material that brought me back. this is ridiculous. your customer service is a joke, and this is why business Like Amazon, are destroying companies like yours. by putting their customers first, and making great customer service mandatory. this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a toy store. and most likely the last. oh and i didnt buy the boat, i had them give me all my money back, and i left.

Set up a baby registry in the store. It somehow did not get saved. waste of an hour. Someone got something similar to what we wanted from our registry but not what we wanted. Toys r us will not take it back with out a receipt. So now I have to go and rudely tell people I need to take stuff back and hope they have the receipt. Target or walmart would easily take it back, but not toys r us. I may be stuck with a crappy item I didnt want. Toys r us is struggling for many reasons. This is one. I will not be shopping here ever again.

I remember buying my first ever gaming console when I was in 1st grade here in 2004 or 2005. I also brought my Wii here on March 5, 2009 for $250.00 with Mario Party 8. And Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D in April 2016 for $21. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii for $29. on February 14, 2017. But for parents, theres a great selection of Thomas the Tank Engine toys; either Take-n-Play, Adventures, or Wooden Railway.

Unlike most of the locations in the greater metro DC area, I was actually greeted as I walked into the store and asked if I needed any assistance. Great employees, but their stock/rotation of Star Wars Black Series has always been lacking, but that describes most of the T-r-U in the area. Their employees seem to care and it is a very easy location to get in and out of quickly.

Its good for when I need diecast but since me being a collector of wwe,diecast, and funko I like my boxes or packages in good condition. I went there today and a few mustangs were ripped and I went to the funkos so 3 arrows I was looking for. The bad part the boxes were bent and ruined

Customer service was nice, good selection, fun to visit! Not one of the larger Toys R Us locations Ive been to, but we pretty much found what we needed. Looked a little sketchy from the outside but the inside was totally fine.

Good selection of kids bikes, and they assemble for $10 extra. A salesperson named Kim was very nice and gave us a 20% coupon to use when we realized that ours expired yesterday. Good experience!

Ive always had a soft spot for Toys"R"Us, I grew up a Toys"R"Us kid. Happy to still have brick and mortar toy stores. They have great deals often and will price match.
