I love mall walking and I enjoy looking at all the eclectic items that the mall has to offer. There really is something for everybody. Certain days of the week are special vendor days. On these days you can find baseball cards, comic books, rocks, and a whole slew of other neat specialty items at the tables set up throughout the mall walkways. The issue I have is that this mall goes through extreme phases of decline and renewal. During the spring/summer the mall closes a bunch of shops and does re-modeling or switches out stores. Sometimes only a handful of major stores are open for months at a time. All the stores are open and ready to go for the holidays, but outside of that the mall experience is kind of hit or miss.

Lets face it: the rise of department stores and online shopping have rendered malls obsolete for the most part over the past 15 years. Wyoming Valley Mall is no different. As a child and teenager in the 1990s, WVW had a diverse selection of stores, a robust arcade, and a food court with multiple options. Today, its quickly becoming a ghost town. The food court has been reduced to an overpriced pizzeria, a Chinese food place, an Orange Julius, and an Arbys. Even Subway and McDonalds have left. The majority of the stores now are clothing stores geared toward the trendy tween, teen, and college crowds. For now, there are still enough stores to satisfy the publics shopping interests, but its on a downward trend.

Considering the state of the local economy, the fact the just about every store front is occupied is pretty amazing. Macys is a weird set up as the womens section is on one side of the mall and the mens on another not connected, you have to walk out into the mall and around to each Macys department. Otherwise it is a decent mall. Parking always available at or near all entrances. Sears is the only drawback; you can tell Sears is about to go under from the state of the inside.of the Sears store.

What happened to this mall ? At one time it was beautiful !!! Where are the stores going ? Patio food court food isnt fresh. Its like a hang out. My new car got damaged while parked in their lot :( No good sales. Clothes not up to date. I will say J.C. Penny has friendly workers. Never can find anyone to help at registers in Macys. Mall needs more security. I wonder how much longer this mall will survive :/ Hope someone steps up & makes a positive change soon.

Good variety of stores, vendors, and kiosks. Staff in all of the stores and eating places that we went to were friendly and accommodating. All over cleanliness could be improved. There is an event Arena right at the mall and there were plenty of police to direct traffic toward the event but watch out because no one will tell you if you are in the right line of traffic for either the event or the mall.

Ive went here multiple times and personally I think this mall is great! Theres alot of stores inside which give alot of choices to shop and hang out and the stores themselves are great, the people that work there are helpful, friendly, and personable, and the products at the stores are great and the food court is pretty good other then it can be empty sometimes but Id totally recommend this place.

The Wyoming Valley Mall is still suprisingly active in 2016. There is a large variety of businesses that call this mall home. In addition to the shops there are several restaurants open. The food court is a shadow of a once blossoming area as many restaurants have shut down on the past few year. The mall is not typically busy but as the holidays approach expect crowds and long lines.

Most stuff here is overpriced especially clothing you buy 2 pairs of jeans going to cost you around 130 dollars or more. Price gouging. I goto tmobile store , long wait times , i usually am waiting like 35 minutes or better , even if theres 3 people ahead shouldnt take that long. Tmobile as of over 10 months you have to provide Id to pay your own bill thats bullshit period

Wyoming mall is the best that we have . We should Shop in our mall and not so much and Internet. Why? When our mall close because they dont get business and we dont have a mall or store like Macys or Jcpenney including the rest of all those Store that we have inside the mall. We wish we did. Please dont let that happen and lets start shopping in Wyoming mall

Im used to malls having at least 2 floors. This one was pretty small and the selection of stores they did have werent the greatest. I do like the events though, took my kids to see Santa and got a really nice family picture package for a good price and got my daughters ears done at piercing pagoda, the lady was amazing (my daughter was only 5) its an ok mall

Generally a pretty clean mall with most storefronts still open. Easy to access off the highway and ample parking on all sides of the mall. Restaurants in the mall itself are a little lackluster, so dont really expect to be eating here while you walk around. Fortunately, there are plenty of options surrounding the mall within a few minutes driving time.

As a child of the 80s, the mall was always an amazing place. While there are still a significant amount of stores here and a variety of quality places to shop. There is an air of yesterday. But still a wide variety of stores and get some exercise out of the elements.

Pretty nice mall. Plenty of stores with all the important name brands : holister, American Eagle, pacsun and many others. Theres alot of great food as well. The mall seems more alive than many malls in the area. During the holidays it can become extremely crowded.

Alot of shops. They are trying the get more shops to open there. Lots of parking. Short on food services. Only three or four places to order food while shopping there. They mall staff do a great job keeping the building clean. There is a large selection of shops.

What can I say about the mall other than its a mall, and the only one really in our area. Its not terrible and has several good places to shop but the food court has gone way downhill over the years. Auntie Anns and Orange Julius though are the bomb!
