Wow! Amazing experience using this store/shop today. The selection of bikes and accessories is fantastic. The repair shop is second to none. The techs are all patient and knowledgeable. They were able to do a repair and two upgrade installations on my bike in minutes and the also fixed my wifes bike whos shifter cable bound up. All while we waited! In the off chance there is a wait, you can always grab a bite to eat at the café upstairs while you wait. This shop will service all makes and brands of bikes and the techs are not critical of your brand of bicycle. Bring your Huffy or your Canondale, they will treat you with the same respect.

I am a cyclist from Tampa, in town visiting our son and daughter in law. Decided to rent a recumbent from these guys. Glad I did. They were very accommodating, even swapping out their pedals for mine (cleats) and making their water fountain back in the shop available for my water bottle. The ride was great and trail very good, and with their store having direct trail and parking access, what could be easier? These guys know their stuff. Clean and well-organized bike shop, lots of great bikes on display and real cyclists to answer your questions. Definitely worth five stars.

Wife and I were riding GAP-C&O from Pittsburgh to DC a few weeks ago. I blew a spoke the first day. These folks took care of it immediately and competently -- they had the right length spoke on hand, in black even to match the rest of em. Got to watch a bit of NFL on their TV while we waited. I learned two things that day: dont trust a wheel I built myself using spokes of too narrow a gauge, and West Newton Bicycle Shop is a top notch establishment.

Ive been dealing with WNBS for over 5 years. Prices are competitive, selection is better than average. Service is 5 stars !! On a number of occasions they have dropped what they were working on to make very significant repairs on my bike so I could get back on the road and enjoy my ride that day. They even offer to pick you up on the Yough trail if you have problems. Pretty low profile outfit so if you looking for a latte while you shop, BYO.

Ive been to every bike shop from Pittsburgh to Philly to Ohio. Sure the big chain places are cool but supporting local & family owned is important. Not to mention the personalized service you get! Floyd and the guys can get you any bike you want and fast, if they already dont have it in stock.. Their service is also very fast and theres not one thing they cant fix. Id recommend them to anyone and have.

I love this bike store. Their prices are reasonable and their repairs are well done and quick. I have brought bikes from them and was very satisfied. Thank you. You can also rent bikes from them for the trail at their West Newton Location or Cedar Creek Park, especially if you want to try a recumbent bike.

Bikes were great. We only rode two hours with our 7 year granddaughter who had her own bike. We rented ours and found them to be comfortable for our mature bodies. Our first ride on the bike trail. We will rent again.
