I am not sure what I was expecting going to such a small establishment like this, but I was hoping for a friendly sales person. My fiance and I went into Youngs last week, after standing there about 7 minutes we were finally acknowledged by the sales person (she was assisting another customer at the time, however a "I will be right with you" was not out of the question.) I told her that I needed to get a ring sized, she asked very rudely where the ring was bought. I explained to her that my 2.2 ct. colorless diamond princess cut ring was purchased in the diamond district in NYC (Sorry for the sass, but at that point she had aggrevated me.) Well, from then on everything went down hill! I told her it was bought in NY, however my fiance got it sized the wrong size and I would be needing to get sized, rather than driving back up there to get it resized. She then basically threw the ring sizers at me and told me to start trying them on. I told her I believe I am a 5 1/4 but Ill double check and asked her how to read the ring sizers (these were ancient and had all types of letters and numbers on them.) She again, rudely explained it to me, rolled her eyes, and walked away. At that point, I have had enough. I am a professional woman, mids 20s with a 2.2 diamond engagement ring in my hand and you are treating me like scum? I then yelled down to her asking if I owed her anything for using her sizers (you never know), she said no and I walked out telling her I would take my business else where. Absolute joke of an establishment! I would never purchase an item here, nor go here for any of my jewelery needs. I am usually not one who writes reviews about things, being as there are always two sides. However, a week later and this still bugs me!

They have always been so willing to help us every time that we go into their store. My father has gotten some really nice pieces of jewelry for my mother and they have always been willing to help select, size and figure out a payment for anything we get there. Being a guy, I honestly have not the slightest clue when it comes to picking out jewelry so when the time came for my girlfriends birthday, I walked into them and admitted that I am a broke college student and know nothing about jewelry. They very willing explained each of my questions and helped me set up a plan for paying off the piece that I selected so that it would be paid off in time for her birthday. I have never had a bad experience and would highly recommend Young Jewelers to anybody.

The bracelet my daddy bought here for me awhile ago was so beautiful. They have a great selection of things. I love stopping in here to look at the different rings and such and just just imagine some of it on me. I love when theyd let me try stuff on, made me feel like a movie star! They are so nice and never try to hustle you to buy anything. Some jewelers are rude and act snotty when you ask if they have anything in a certain range of price. Not them, they arent concerned with nailing only big sales. They want to build relationships with customers.

I also have had a horrible experience with Young Jewelers. The owner, Patricia is a very rude lady. I have been trying to get some information from her for about 7 months on some engagement rings and she never got back to me.I wound up having my boyfriend go to another jeweler where not only did I get what I wanted but I was happy with the customer service I received. I have to say in todays economy, why are people so rude???

I love this place. The lady is honest. She does things the old fashioned way and has a great selection. I got a bigger ring for less money. I am impressed with her knowledge. I bring her all my jewlery repairs. Great service!

A wonderful jewelry store. Estate jewelry, new and repairs. All at a very reasonable price. Been going here for years and will continue to frequent and refer people to this establishment.
