My 12 year old son and I stopped in to shop for pork loin roasts and beef roast. The store recently stated selling beer so I tried to buy 1 can of miller lite but when I got the check out the young man at the cash register informed me that he could not check out the beer. He told me I would have to go back into the beer section to find the beer clerk but not to take my son back their because people in the store might be offended with a Dad buying beer with his son. He then told a personal story of how people were offended when he was a kid. Overall, I found the experience inconvenient and humiliating as the young clerk clearly has not be trained on how to be respectful to his elders and not to waste peoples time telling personal stories. I found the clerk to be judgmental and self righteous . I question why someone like that would be employed serving the public. I will never step foot in this store again.

The store is clean and well-lit, open 24/7, and much of the produce comes from local sources. On a Sunday, you may catch a horse and buggy hooked up at the side of the parking lot. Theres also a Weis gas station at this location. Like many other Weis stores, the prices arent as cheap as some other places (like Walmart), but youre paying for the convenience and supporting the local community (Kutztown area).

Cramped, unpleasant place to shop. Prices are high. For many years it was the only store in town before Giant opened up about 5 years ago. Gas but no diesel is available. I really miss the Chinese buffet in that Plaza. It was the one thing that drew me to that Plaza.

The first time I ever went to weis was the last time I went there. The service there is horrible. I went to get my sons milk, when I got home the milk was bad and I tried to return and they refused to give me a new one. After that I never went there again.

Never wait long in check out line and cashiers are friendly. Shelves are always stocked and have what I need. Pretty good weekly sale ads and decent prices. Usually not real full and convenient place to shop

Great store, staff is helpful and friendly, pharmacy is great and pharmacists are excellent. Wies brand products are sometimes even better then brand name and in store food it good.

They sell wine as well as beer now! Remember you have to check out liquor purchases at the deli counter.
