9/23/2010 I went here about 10:45am to the Jonestown Rd., Harrisburg Location to trade in a car seat (as I read in the flyer) for a new one as our baby outgrew it. When I got there and picked out a car seat ($100) i went to trade in the old one and they told me that the carseat special ended a few days ago. OK fine, so I gave them a 20% off coupon that came in the same flyer and then they told me that the coupon wasnt good until tomorrow. They were so rude, it was absurd. Three people ahead of me in line left their merchandise and left the store in a huff. I assumed that the credit card machine was down or something. But i found out that they had the same coupon issue. Two of the people were buying cribs which were above $300. So i guess babies r us is doing so well in the recession that they can throw away $1000 in sales based on a technicality. Why didnt they just take the coupons? What difference did it make if we bought the things today or tomorrow! I went to walmart (5 minutes away) and got the same damn seat for $50 no coupon necessary! This place is so overpriced and pretentious. SCREW THEM!

I almost never write reviews. This may very well be my first one but I wanted to give a very big thank you and much praise to Mindy and Cory for helping me and dad with my registry. They were very patient more especially with a dad that has way too many questions and is very anxious about his little one being welcomed to the world. Mindy went above and beyond getting me the best deals with price matching and making sure I got the most out of the rewards and savings. Needless to say we saved around $500 maybe more in our purchase. I love everything I have and I couldnt be a happier first time mom and dad was very pleased with every thing. Thanks again for the experience!

Its a good place for baby merchandise No a ton of deals or sales But there is a much wider selection of the items your going to eventually need/use anyway If your going to use a coupon they generally have a start and end date on them so be an adult and read the fine print. Use/apply for a credit card thru them and it helps save aswell Extremely quiet atmosphere ...almost creepy lol Ive never had an issue with staff they have always help me find what Im looking for

I ordered a gift from a registry online so I could quickly pick up the item. After waiting 20 minutes in the store I finally got the item I purchased. It would have been much faster to just purchase the item in store. So frustrating and a complete waste of time!
