My car was damaged in the parking lot due to the staff being negligent in collecting carts which were strewn all over the parking lot. During the high winds last Wednesday, several carts crashed into the side of my car leaving extensive damage. I took pictures of the carts jammed up against my car and asked for a manager to come out and assist me. They were very disorganized and couldnt even figure out where or how to fill out an incident report. Finally I was told "someone from risk management would contact me in 3 days." I received a form letter today stating that Toys R Us would not accept responsibility as they maintain that they regularly retrieve carts!! They didnt send anyone out to collect the multiple carts strewn on the lot until the assistant manager saw what happened to my car. Even as I was leaving, I saw additional accumulated carts flying across the lot and striking at least one other vehicle. After years of shopping there I will NOT go back if this is how the company undervalues its loyal customers!!!

Pros: Store looks nice Staff is friendly (when available) Cons: Ordered nursery furniture and wrong name was placed on order. I contacted shipping company and fixed name there. Ive been calling the Toysrus/Babiesrus Columbia store for two days to get a hold of some someone. Of the 20+ calls, I have received three answers (morning shift, person unavailable, person will call you, person will contact you after hosted event is over) and the rest have the phone ring until it automatically disconnects, no communication acknowledge. I have managed to contact other Babiesrus and the online store, however the tracking systems are store specific and they cannot help change the order at a different location. Update: On phone call #25 I finally got a hold of someone and found out that the name could not be changed. I have to hope the notes for both store and delivery are read and there isnt some sort of mix-up...on the plus side, customer service was polite and helpful...just SO HARD to get a hold of.

Easy and plentiful parking with designated spots for moms with newborns or who are expecting. We went looking for shoes for our toddlers and they were easy to find. It was nice to see that there were options ranging from relatively expensive all the way down to $4 flip flops with a strap on the back to keep them on the toddlers feet. My wife changed both of our toddlers in the bathroom and didnt report any issues with that experience.

Why are there never more than two registers open on any day of the week?! Currently standing in a line of at least 10 families. If you have small children or babies with you, waiting in a long line every time you come in is ridiculous. Of all companies BRU/TRU should know this. Makes me want to just shop online or elsewhere.

Patricia is so nice. Talisa is The Best. I returned my daughters teavel system (Britax recall ). For buying another stroller and car seat she spent more than 2 hours with us and she helped us a lot to finding the best ones. We had pleasant experience.
