Ive never experienced such an awful time shopping for a car until yesterday at the Mazda dealership in Fairless Hills. I travelled all the way from South Jersey to meet with a sales person. I made an internet inquiry the night before and Melissa Coschi responded first thing the next day. She was very nice and professional. Responded immediately to my emails. She then asked me if I would like to come in and meet with a sales person. I had preferred to meet with her because she was very helpful. Unfortunately she said she sets up the appointments only. So I agreed to come in and travelled over 30 minutes to Fairless Hills PA. Upon entering I was greeted immediately by Barry. I told him I am here to meet with Melissa and he said shes our internet coordinator. He escorted me straight to his desk and immediately asked me what car I am interested in. I told him the CX-5. He asks me for my info and I said I am here to meet with Melissa. He gets up and leaves me (assuming to get Melissa or someone else) and comes back to finish asking me questions about the type of car I want. Never did explain to me why I didnt meet Melissa. Barry said it would be a better price if you get non leather seats and I said did you even look up what kind of model I am looking for, isnt it in your system? I started to get a little upset only because he did NOT get Melissa and hes asking me all these questions when I made an internet inquiry. So he finally looked up the model I was interested in. He gets the keys and we walk to look at the car. Never once held the door for me, walked about 20 feet ahead of me. It was the most awkward position Ive ever been in. I was furious at this point. Barry was ok with explaining the car but at that point I wasnt interested and I am sure he could tell by my demeanor. Test drove the car. Came back to his desk and I didnt even want to negotiate. I was already stressed from this awful experience. I told him I wasnt interested because the price was not what I was looking for and walked out. I sat in my car to write an email to Melissa about my awful experience. Barry came out around 2 or 3 times (to come back inside) and then finally with the manager. I told the manager I dont want to discuss my experience in front of Barry. Told him some of what had happened and that I am not interested any longer. He did say he would help me get a better sales guy and make it up to me but again I was boiling at this point. Bottom line, I had my heart set on getting a Mazda CX-5. I read the reviews on the dealership and thought it was worth the trip. I needed an SUV because of my hip issue. I absolutely loved the CX-5 and after doing extensive research this was what I wanted and unfortunately with the horrible sales experience I received I dont think I would ever want to give my business to Mazda. Barry was only interested in taking advantage of me in order to make a sale. Thank you Melissa for all of your help, they are lucky to have you. Peruzzi should put you on the floor as a sales person!

Buying a new or used vehicle is not a super fun process, it feels like a game of back and forth, just trying to whittle the price down with this dealer versus that dealer versus the internet. Between Monday when I started test driving and Friday when I bought the car, I had talked with no less than 5 other dealers and a week later I am still getting phone calls from random dealers because I put my name and number into the edmunds website. Unlike the competition who was pressuring me to come into the dealership and work out a deal without a final price, Peruzzi was much more straightforward and willing to negotiate a final price over the phone. The internet sales person Melissa and her manager Tom handled the whole negotiating process with 2 emails and 3 phone calls and locked in a really great offer on a new cx5. The other dealer I was originally using was still a few hundred bucks more expensive for the same package, and couldnt beat the price. He switched his tactics in the face of losing the sale, saying negative things about Peruzzi. He said that they would try to stick me with hidden fees or charges at the last second, or that they wouldnt offer the same level service. At that point I looked at yelp reviews, while they are kinda mixed on here, I also think some of the problems could happen to any dealer really. In the end, there were no hidden fees, the paperwork was ready to go at the price we agreed on, and everyone was friendly and easy going. A week has passed and Im super happy with my new car and just wanted to chime in with a positive experience, buying a car should be more straightforward, but compared to the competition Peruzzi did rise above the rest, for me.

This was a review I posted on another site last year, followed by a recent experience. " I hate going to car dealers and of course car shopping. I went to Peruzzi because my wife wanted to look at a Mazda 3 for one of our sons. I told the salesman I didnt want to be there but I was there because my wife wanted to car shop. Paul Bogart was our salesman and was quite knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, not pushy or anything remotely like that, and made the experience actually enjoyable. In fact we went back the following week and bought a 2nd Mazda from Paul. I have never had a pleasant experience buying a car until meeting Paul Bogart, George his manager and everyone else at Peruzzi Mazda and would highly recommend a visit. The whole team there is phenomenal". Update: Today I called the Mazda dealership in Maple Shade, NJ for service appointment for a minor concern because my son works in Maple Shade. They couldnt even look at the car until NEXT Monday and they have no key drop to drop the car off after service closes. I called Peruzzi and Im taking the car there tonight so they can look at it tomorrow. I should have known not to bother calling the other dealer.

Peruzzi Mazda is definitely the place to go to when looking to score a great deal, excellent customer service, and an amazing new car. They helped guide me in the direction that would best fit my financial situation, while also allowing me to find a car that had everything that I was looking for. I would personally like to thank Bob Burns for taking the time to guide me through the process of buying my first car and helping me find the car most suitable. He helped my dad decide on the best-fit car and allowed him to test drive a few cars while communicating with me via phone, to explain the features and answer my questions because I was out of the area at the time. When I went to pick up the car, Bob spent time to go over the cars features with me before I drove off the lot. In addition, Kasey helped me understand the car financing and additional warranty plans and what they could add to my peace of mind. My overall service at Peruzzi Mazda was extraordinary, and I am very satisfied with my purchase of a 2014 Mazda 3 Sport! Thank you to all the staff for making my first car buying experience easy- going and enjoyable!
