Aldis is a great place. its a German founded market and keep down thier cost by the way their products are displayed (flats), and have their cashiers double as stockers. Their carts are also made for customers to place back in order, so bring a quarter you get it back when youre done shopping. I love the one in Exton PA, but the one closer to my home in Glenolden, PA is a mess. I think it is due to the workers they hire there, lazy and dont want to do anything. I mean Ive gone there so many times recently and found rotten fruit and vegetables, merchandise thrown around. A MESS!!! Recently when I went there, boxes of chips where stacked by the entrance fell over, and I told this one worker, and she said oh, ok and continued shashaying around (she did nothing). I told this other worker (Elizabeth) and she stopped what she was doing to go and fix the boxes. It seems they use that location to train new management, but when theyre done the store goes down hill again. there once was a group of workers that kept the place nice, a girl named Antoinette was one, but they left. Another thing about that store, they need to stop with the "must have been discontinued" excuse. I was in retail management at one time, and that excuse really means, we forgot to order it, or we ordered the wrong item, so now you have to buy it until we sell out, and reorder the wrong item again. I mean really, this location in Glenolden really sucks, and they need to do something about it. I dont know if the regional manager is still that guy with the British accent, (Peter, I think). But please do something about that store, as it is the closest to where I live. Exton is great, but Glenolden is horrible, so much to the fact that I have now started going to the Walmart in Springfield. I pay a little more, but the quality is better than the dollar store brands they are currently stocking at the Glenolden store (due to the above excuse). I mean I bought toilet paper and napkins for the first time in years, I mean YEARS at Walmart because of the excuse above. Well I had my say, Aldis is great overall, except for that location.

I give Aldi three stars because I love the convenient Exton location directly across from #Kohls. Its easy to forget that the building used to be Franks Nursery years ago. The prices are good but the selection is a little off the beaten path. A big brand name is hard to find but they carry some competitors that work. I enjoy their dried fruits and packaged nuts selection as well as their condiments. They do not offer bags but they sell reusable plastic bags for .10 each or you can buy an insulated for a little more. At checkout everything is put back in the cart and you must go to the bagging station to pack up. Bring a quarter to get a cart because #Aldi keeps their prices low by eliminating certain paid positions so theres no cart collection person on staff. They carry milk without hormones which I like.

Aldi carries non-National brands but dont let that fool you. These are not "off" brands or inferior brands. Generally the quality is as good as the national brand and in many instances, even better. The price is significantly lower than the national brand counterpart. In addition to grocery items, they have fresh produce, dairy, bakery and meats as well as frozen foods. Some products are only available seasonally and they are usually something awesome and special like German chocolates at Christmas. The store décor is no frills, bring your own bags or buy high quality plastic ones for 10cents. Once you start buying here, it will become part of your household shopping routine. It is that good...

The prices are better than competing chains, but the food is just as good. They dont provide free bags, and they dont have a fresh deli or seafood counter, but we still go here first each week, get 95% of what well need for the week for less, and then pop in to another grocer to get the remainder. Its best to bring your own reusable bags, but if you dont they allow you to use boxes that accumulate when they restock the shelves. Its always clean, and the check-out is efficient. Nice place.

Quality and Savings! There is a lot of money to be saved by shopping here. I havent found anything that wasnt as good or better than a regular brand here. The selection for fresh meats is a little lacking, but you cant beat the produce prices or quality of other items. Also seasonal household items, like clothes or kitchen gadgets, have all be wonderful.

Using a quarter for a shopping cart is really hard cant hardly find them anymore.... jk cant believe these retards would have a problem with this considering they are paying half for the same manufacturers to create the same product in a 20 minute have all my groceries for the next 2 weeks shopping experience. Keep up the great work!

This is grocery shopping at warehouse prices without the huge packaging sizes or membership fees. The selection is very limited compared to other grocery stores - in return, youre in and out faster since the whole setup is quite compact and things are easier to find if youve been there a few times.

I love that we can purchase high quality organic and wholesome foods at a fraction of the price. You cannot beat their hormone-free meats and milk! Bring your shopping bags, load up and save a ton of money. With the money I save, we have plenty left over to purchase the few other items we need.

Pricing is excellent, products are great quality. Stock changes often, sometimes my favorites have been discontinued, but I also love their staple items. Majority of my shopping is done here now, and I was a Wegmans customer before!

This store could not let me use one of their cart just because I did have change to get a cart from outside the store. The cashier was rude and very inconsiderate about one of the cart that was not in used.

I love their selection and the store layout. Its easy to navigate. However, they need to have more staff to limit the lines sometimes. The small size of the store also makes it very crowded at times.

Great prices of no-named brand items. So far I have not been disappointed in their own brand. You wont be able to get everything here but its a good place to stop to make your dollar go further.

Have to know your shopping prices. If you do then you can shop here. Do have good prices on many things. Remember to bring your own bags!
