I attended Waywards toy drive on December 19, 2015. For a donated toy or pet item, you got a small tattoo. I have only ever gone to one other place and it usually takes me months to plan out a tattoo, so I was quite nervous. I figured, however, that if I chickened out or didnt like any of the pre-drawn flashes, I was still donating to a good cause and just wouldnt get the tattoo. There were so many people there and hats off to all the artists! I cant imagine doing all the tattoos that they cranked out in a day! The shop has an open plan, which is not my favorite layout for a tattoo or piercing place. But owners prerogative, and it doesnt mean its not a great place, just not my preference. That being said, even with all the people around, my experience was still cozy and personal. The tattoo I originally wanted couldnt be done in the location I wanted (my neck), and I can understand why. With so many people, the area being tattooed has to be one of the less sensitive. For only 20-30 minutes per tattoo, its a necessity. So no hard feelings there. I was able to find another that I liked and in a place that was visible to me, but easily covered. The artist who did my tattoo was Mark P. And Mark is AWESOME. Nice guy, great artist, I really cant put in to words what a great experience I had just from the short time we shared! I was most pleased to discover that the image I selected was one of Marks. He was equally pleased as he mentioned that he didnt know if he was going to get a chance to tattoo one of his own designs! Here we are two and a half weeks later, it healed nicely, and looks great. I loved almost his entire flash and I will be going back to talk to him about the original tattoo I wanted at the toy event! The other artists and employees were courteous and professional. They had a rockin system for the event that moved folks right along. Ill definitely be donating if they have this next year. (And as I mentioned then, it would be cool to have a similar event in the spring/summer!) Thanks again!! Keep up the great work!

Ive been getting tattoos at Wayward Tattoo since shortly after they opened, and it is definitely my shop of choice. It is clean and everyone is very friendly and extremely talented. They do not really have flash to pick from like other shops though as they specialize in custom work, and they all have their own style. My go-to artist is "Eerie" Eric Fargiorgio. He is a fantastic artist and is known for his works of Aliens, Bigfoot, as well as other cryptids and aspects from all areas of the paranormal.

This is absolutely the best shop in the area. Every artist is exceptional with specific styles that are killer. If you are still going to any other shop, you have lost your mind. I cant say enough about the professionalism, cleanliness, ability, or friendliness of these fantastic artists. Im proud to call them family.

Johnny Matters is an amazing artist! The wayward crew is very friendly and inviting in an extremely clean and organized environment. The artist was very professional and did an outstanding job at getting my tattoos exactly how I wanted them. I now have 3 by Johnny and I love each of them! He does truly amazing work!
