Located In a very easy to get to location in Ephrata off of 322 coming from Lancaster areas and 272 from reading areas, right outside of a few major shopping lineups with Big Lots, Staples etc. you will find this store across the street tucked between a few other businesses like a nail salon and Gage, Location really matters for a store and having being near places people tend to go to a lot gives it a good look around for plenty of customers to stop by, and they do. Not only does this place stand out where its at, its one of the only places to go to for Video Games, Comics and Anime, a Place to Chill and play some Arcade Systems or have fun Tournaments in Ephrata. The business is ran by Spenser and his brother Trevor, so it is family run, along with other friendly staff. So it differs from there major rival Game Stop who runs Corporate and Complete is always cheaper. I personally feel that family businesss pose a more friendly and able connectivity between there consumers. The staff are very capable to answer any questions and help any sort of person find what there looking for whether they be a Casual Gamer, or a Parent looking for a gift for there child. Not only does Complete in Box offer a fair size of Video Game merchandise, they also offer plenty of Animes and Consoles. Complete in Box stands out over rivaling stores by offering Customers a cozy place to try out some of the games that are being released and even op-in on Tournaments and Weekly Challenges which usually provide prizes of Store Credit giving customers an opportunity to save money, hang out and have a good time, or just test and tone there skills to see if they have what it takes. I loved walking into the store the first time seeing Isles of games to choose from, and an amazing collection of rarities and gaming merchandise to gawk at and Arcade Systems to play, I would give this store a 5/5 rating based off of Cleanliness of the store, Staff to consumer interaction, Prices, and Gaming Intelligence. These people really know what they are doing and if your in the area I would definitely suggest stopping by and checking it out.

Even though there is a Gamestop literally 8 minutes away from my house and right next door to where I work, I would MUCH rather spend the 30+ minutes traveling into Ephrata to visit Complete in Box. The staff is amazing, nice and fairly knowledgeable on gaming systems and other such items, and I have never been disappointed when shopping there. The best part, is that even though theyre a video game store, they have much more than just games to offer. From comics to movies, to game guides and some graphic novels, DVDs of some TV shows, as well as figurines and some collectibles! All for a pretty fair price as well. Ive gotten some pretty nice deals on older games or game systems I never used anymore, as well as found some really old games I used to play when I was younger. They have a very large selection of games as well, ranging from Atari systems to the new stuff. I do wish they had more older PC games available, but I can make do. :) The only thing that bothers me a little, is the store does sometimes feel a tad cramped especially during high traffic times, but the content and items they carry more than make up for it in my opinion. Keep up the great work you guys! Show Gamestop how its supposed to be done! :)

Ive been using these guys since they went into business. I have bought many games, gift cards and systems here. Games are hit or miss like any reused game store. These guys are running a local business and trying to make it fun. No store is perfect. I had bought a PS2 that didnt work right and had 2 games that were not in the case when I bought them. In EVERY occasion, they did what they could to make it right. That includes things I bought at midnight on black Friday. To me, if they stand by their products after the sale, that means more then making a sale. To everyone complaining about the service here or stuff not working, did you ever sell anything at a yard sale and find it didnt work after you sold it? Sometimes its not the sellers fault. Have you ever been at work and started talking to someone and didnt realize someone else wanted to talk to you or have a bad day? That happens to the best of us. So if you rate a store on one experience, odds are its not always accurate. These guys are honest and offer cash refunds. Good luck with that at game-stop or walmart.

I picked up a new genuine Sony PS3 controller for $47.xx (came out to $50 with tax). Thats their every day price (at the date of this posting) so it looks like theyre priced below the big box / corporate stores for new hardware/accessories. Thats a great incentive to go out and support a locally owned business as opposed to paying more at corporate general retailers. They have a great selection of used old school video games / systems / accessories from Atari up to modern day gear and their prices are right in line with what you would find on E-bay (factoring in the added cost you would have to pay for shipping on E-bay) - so its a good place to pick up used gear as well. It has a nice atmosphere - theres old arcade games set up to play along with old systems where you can try out games or play games with fellow gamers. If you look at their website they also host events - in the future I plan to check one out. The staff is pretty nice, its obvious they share a passion for gaming which makes this a great place to shop and visit.

Went in with my husband a few weeks ago to pick up a used Wii console (only because our usual store didnt have any in stock). Once we got it home, we realized it was absolutely filthy. Crusty with what I imagined was food and other sticky crap. It would have been nice if it was cleaned before being put on the shelf for sale. Went back in after lunch to pick up a second Wiimote (Which was also dirty) and some games. The store was virtually empty, but the workers couldnt be bothered to help us. One was reading and the other was talking with friends and taking care of a baby simultaneously. Eventually he noticed that we needed help, but it was as if we were bothering him by wanting to make a purchase. The tournament area is pretty nifty, but aside from that, I wasnt impressed. While this store is closer, Ill stick with & prefer my usual store. Its great to not be pushy sales people, but you should at least try to somehow engage all your customers, even just by saying "Hello!" when they walk in, dont treat them like a burden.

I have 4 kids ages 11 to 36 and have followed the progression of video games and systems starting with Atari and have been to a few gaming stores for myself and my kids. These guys know their stuff from Atari to the most recent game console and arent another corporate run gaming business! They sell all generations of systems, games and arent giving you information their employer had them memorize, they have played the systems & games! They are more than fair on their prices for new items and used items that you want to buy, trade or sell! Their selection of systems, games & overall merchandise more than triples the last GameStop I was in and these guys are much more polite & helpful!! I have been bringing my youngest here for over 2 years & my older daughter wont go anywhere else for anything gaming!! Keep up the good work!! Let the haters go somewhere else with their negative vibe, its their loss anyway!! These guys went as far as donating to the pediatric unit at Ephrata Hospital !!!!!
