First let me start off by saying the only reason Im giving VGS two stars is due to the fact that they do indeed have a pretty good selection, however their ego and arrogance stand in the way of their business. I can confirm part of a previous review that the games you buy from VGS are in very poor condition 9 times out of ten. I do not play videos games all that much, probably 2-4hrs a week. This being said I bought MW3 a couple months back but didnt play it right away as I was playing Fallout NV at the time. When I did get around to playing it all was good until all of a sudden in the middle of a mission ( a damn good one at a damn good part of the mission at that) the disc error message appeared telling me to clean the disc because it was unreadable. I called there and told them what happened and they tell me to bring the disc down and theyll resurface it, but it will cost AT LEAST two bucks. I told them I should not have to pay for a bad disc which you knowingly sold to me to be resurfaced. Now Im not complaining of the price itself, I am complaining of the fact they sold me a faulty disc, that even still had a lot of polish from their resurfacing machine stained around the very center of the disc where it clicks into the case. Cleaning some not all of it off, as the residue actually stained it, revealed two small small cracks. This was the first I had noticed as I do not play all that often and the problem didnt occur until a bit of playing. I have several other games from there that are also pretty scratched, that are still working, but for how long? I can assure you I did not scratch the discs personally. I take very good care of my console and games. I never leave discs in the console when not in use, always put them back in the case correctly by depressing the center first and putting the disc in as to not crack the middle, and do the same taking the disc out, and never leaving the disc lying around. I keep the console and area around it clear and free of dust particles. If you cant spare the expensive of $2+ for resurfacing a bad disc also with residue still on the center of the disc that which you sold me, then you just lost another customer. I personally know of others with similar dissatisfaction with the quality of service and product who also no longer go there. Id rather pay the couple extra bucks for a good quality product that I can use without it eventually breaking.

Sarah who wrote below about the tablet obviously had trouble reading very clearly that the tablet was $69.99 and not $9.99 like she thought - who is going to assume that a Samsung Galaxy 4 Tablet in mint condition is going to sell for $9.99??? - the price was $69.99 and far lower than any retail store,if fact we guarantee lower than anywhere preowned and after 15 years in business we are well aware of good and fair pricing - she thinks we are overpriced for a perfect condition Samsung Galaxy 4 tablet at $69.99?,lol I dont think so - maybe its priced $9.99 in fantasyland...... Highest prices in the area?....LOL Dont think so - we guarantee lower prices than any major used game retailer - if you see a game higher than a major used retailer in our store we beat them by at least 10% less - next time ask an employee to see if a price seems higher than another store and we will adjust accordingly instead of not saying a thing to us. The Star Wars Boxed sets on DVD are what we call OUT OF PRINT which means they no longer are produced and are therefore rare - blu ray combos are on the market now but it does not take away the value of an out of print DVD boxed set $34.99 is an average price for that particular boxed set. As far as Rays complaint is concerned - The New headphone was purchased weeks before it was brought back in,if it were a few days or less we would have gladly replaced the headphone with a new one but no store is going to replace an item bought weeks before the purchase date,new or used. And to Alexanders Complaint,you have the WRONG store...The Game Station is not The Video Game Store which is located in Downtown WB and we here DO NOT charge to/or resurface discs here so you obviously have us mixed up with the other store,we do not sell discs that are questionable and unclean and certainly do not resurface them here,so I assume your complaint should be addressed to the right place.

It might be a little more expensive then the video game store, however the games are in way better condition then the VGS. The family working there, are very nice and give games at good prices. Like this, I went to their store and they had Zelda: Twilight princess for GC in perfect condition for 32$. The VGS had the same game for 13$, however it was basically chop suey, i bought from the VGS and it worked, but if you are really into haveing good condition discs, buy form this store. I go here way more then VGS cause im a collector/player. So when i pay for a game i want it in the best condition as possible, and the family at gamestation checks the discs and wont even take it if its in bad condition. While Steve from the VGS will take any game and just refurbish it and then re sell it if it looks bad, and that can cause the game to not work properly. The gamestation is by far the best videogame shop in wilkes barre/hanover. If you want a good condition game at a low price go there. If you want a cheaper price and dont care what the game looks like go to VGS. However i highly suggest Gamestation over VGS.

Use to go to this place when I was a kid in nanticoke.. Started going again 2 yrs ago in there wilkesbarre location.. bought games on a regular basis cause they had a good selection.. Started going there less when the owner gave attitudes to simple questions an asking how much they pay for things..For example one time I asked if they bought phones an how much they give.. I told them I wasnt plan on selling it unless they gave a decent price i sell it today. The owner took it in back then came back saying he cant do anything its locked.. Im like ok ill unlock it.. he takes it back again an then 10 mins later comes back out.(doesnt look up prices or just neglects to tell me) he asks if i def plan on selling it. Im like yes if you give a decent price.. he goes well if you aint sure then I dont wanna look up prices.. Im like as long as u offer a good price yes. He goes again Well Im not gonna waste my time if u aint sure.. I told him hes being unreasonable since u wont even give me a price so whatever.. after shopping there for 2 yrs straight i stopped.. Unreasonable an rude an very lazy people..
