This place is very sad. As soon as you walk in, the showroom look very bare, dated and dust on everything. The lighting is so poor and outdated that the overhead lights buzz! Kinda reminds me of those lights that kills bugs. Then there was a white piece of board leaning against a wall right in the walk way, which I almost tripped on. I was looking to see if they sold preowned bikes, but I was told no. I already own 2 brand new bikes but was looking for a third but a different style. The owner of this place is totally missing out on so much potential this place could have or maybe they just dont care anymore! Start selling preowned bikes since not everyone can afford a new one right away, organized your displays better, dust, vacuum, hire more help, update your lighting and play some music so it doesnt feel like I just walked into a haunted house and might be attacked by someone or something! The only thing you have going for you if the person who works on the bikes, I think his name was Kevin. He was very nice but I felt bad because he was the only one there! How can 1 person repair bikes, build new ones and help customers who walk in? Sorry, but I am savvy when it comes to running a business. If another person would happen to open another bike shop in town, Im sorry to say but you would probably go under. Time to wise up buttercup or your customers are going to go elsewhere!

Probably good for the serious biker, but dont try here if you are looking for parts for do-it-yourself repairs. Stopped in with a fairly cheap kids bike that needed a part, was told to leave it and they would see if they had in stock or could get the part in a day or two. Four days later they hadnt even taken a look to see if they had the part in stock or could order it and was then told first come first serve on looking at the bike. Had I known that I wouldnt even have left the bike with them, I would have just ordered the part online and already had it by now. Nice quality bikes and accessories offered in the store with a good variety offered, and Ive heard their repairs are good, but this wasnt the experience I expected out of a local business.

I stopped in Bicycle & Fitness Outfitters on a Friday evening about 15 minutes before closing time. I was travelling for the weekend and forgot my bib shorts at home. Luckily, I was near E-town, and a quick Google search of bike shops brought up this store first. They have a very clean and organized shop. I was in a pickle and needed something on the go, and was able to find a nice pair of Bontrager bib shorts right off of the rack. They had more top-of-the-line clothing available too. Rick was very helpful with selling me the shorts. Some shops have an air about them, but none of that was felt here. I dont really live close to this shop, so I dont think Ill be back. However, if youre in the area or live nearby, definitely pay them a visit.

Went in to get my tubeless tires fixed after speaking on the phone with a mechanic at the shop about it. Got there and was greeted by three very rude mechanics who said they didnt even have sealant at the shop - now what kind of bike shop doesnt have sealant?! Came in as a customer willing to pay for service only to be treated as if that was an annoyance. Never going here again, and I especially dont recommend this shop for anyone with a nice bicycle; all the bikes they were working on were commuter bikes and during the five minutes I spent in there dealing with this one of the mechanics broke a spoke on a wheel he was only supposed to change the tube on.

They helped us fit and pick out bikes. The guy that helped us was huge into road bikes but he asked us where we would be riding and he got my wife setup with a hybrid bike and me with a mountain bike. So even though he had a personal preferance he set us up with what we needed. Plus we were able to donate my wifes bike there! Their prices were good too! Plus you get 50% off services for life of the bike. Definately worth going in and chatting with the staff even if you are just looking. Never felt pressured to buy

Went with my nephew who is in a wheelchair to inquire about getting his tires and hand rims from one set of wheels switched to another set. 2 staff members were present and able to immediately do the job while we waited. They let us watch while the job was being done and talked to my nephew the entire time about his wheel chair, the wheels and engaged us in conversation. Friendly, personable and reasonable fee for the service provided!

I have to disagree with the lady who said she was treated rudely in this store. I was in today and Justin stopped what he was doing to help me and prepare two bicycles for test rides. I also want to say that this lady, or anyone who thinks commuter bikes arent "nice bikes," can pay for my next one out of his or her own pocket if they want to be that snobbish. Im buying the best bike I can afford.

This is a fantastic bicycle shop with great and attentive staff. Being independent, they really care about their customers and are willing to work with prices. I purchased a brand new bicycle, as well as getting one of last years models for a discount, and couldnt be happier.

They helped me and my fiance pick out bike explained the differences and options we had. Was not pushy sales men as ive experienced in other shops. Very laid back and did not rush me into a decision. Very pleased with my purchase and will be going back!

I bought a Trek mountain bike here earlier this year and was very pleased with the service. I weighed the options of getting a more expensive bike vs. the one I got, and I didnt feel the pressure of a hard sell. The staff is knowledgable and helpful.
