In good faith I can not even give this company at the Whitehall Pa location even this 1 star. We ordered a chicken coop to be custom built from their catalog costing $1500.00 with a three week turn around time. The item was not ready in 3 weeks , but in 4 weeks (they said they would give a 75.00 discount for our troubles) and when it was ready it was an inferior product indeed. The whole coop was reversed from the catalog pictures. The coop was to house 7-9 chickens which turned out to be impossible due to roost space, 6 is the max this coop will hold, meaning we had to find a home for 3 of our chickens....how disappointing. The construction of the coop was inferior consisting of poor quality wood edges of framework which were broken and jagged, protruding nail inside the coop of which were a danger to my flock, the roost bar wood was broken with jagged edges again a hazard to my flock. The outside run fencing was all bent up with wet stain still with drips all under the eves. The coop was refused by us insisting on another be built. We had to put numerous hours and purchase materials to make this safe until the replacement coop was available.The next coop was not that much better though due to timing of our home selling we had no choice but to accept the item. Green Acres then offered to refund our money and buy another coop from a different supplier. A nice offer however, I would have to put another 1,500.00 out for the replacement..wait approximately 3-4 weeks for delivery ..then when Green Acres picked up the second coop I would get my refund. So once again we had to put our time and materials into this second unit to make it safe for the chickens. Our credit card company phone with a huge order to our card (how nice) and when we told them of the situation they filed a dispute because at that time we didnt even have the new coop so we were charged for an item we had yet received!! The credit card company was told by the manager of Green Acres they would offer us a $150.00 discount for our trouble (we thought we should get more)The process to have them retrieve the old coop at a home we were no longer at was yet another troublesome process...I received a call the guys would be picking it up by noon, driving 1 hour to the old location I sat for 6 hours waiting, only when I phoned my husband and he phoned Green Acres was I given a call, they could be there in an hour by which time it would be dark and with no lighting in that area it wouldve been impossible to have it done them ;( so weeks go by again and finally a pick up is scheduled, the manager himself comes and not only is he rude but the offer he told the credit card company now went down to only $100.00 no disrespect but my husband laughed at him. So here we are today only the original $75.00 discount was applied, the coop has been remodified by my husband to suite and be safe thank goodness. This is by far the worst customer service of inferior product even encountered in my 50 year lifetime so please think and inspect your products from this company especially chicken coops for safely of your loved flock.

I did a lot of research before buying a shed. I saw all the great reviews for Green Acres and thought they were the clear choice. The young man who helped us place our order was very helpful and informative. We waited 4 weeks for them to do site prep and an additional week for our shed to be delivered and we were excited. Now for the delivery... and heres where things went downhill. I called the day before the delivery to confirm everything was as scheduled. The woman who answered the phone assured me the shed would arrive between 1230 and 230 the next day. On the day of the delivery I missed a call from Green Acres on my way home at 1215. I called them back immediately to make sure everything was going smoothly. Once again the woman on the phone assured me my shed would be arriving in the next hour. After two hours of waiting I called them back to check on the delivery, only to find out it wasnt coming. They said the manufacturer was behind schedule and had not completed my shed. My thought was why did I get two confirmations for delivery the day before and day of if they knew I wasnt going to get my shed? It seemed like bad customer service to me. They assured me that my shed would be delivered the following day. So the next day I get a phone call that my shed hit a telephone pole during the delivery. Not on my property, but somewhere between point A and B. So they delivered a damaged shed to my house and they didnt install the ramp. After talking with a sales person I was told they would send someone out to fix it right away. One week goes by without any communication. I called and spoke with the assistant manager who gave me his word I would hear from the repair crew in 48 hours. Another week goes by with no communication. I called again, now two and a half weeks after the delivery date and spoke to the same assistant manager who told me that the repair crew would come the following week to fix my damaged shed. The whole time they put blame on the manufacturer and accepted no part of the responsibility for the delay. I got home today as they were finishing up and the repair work looks nice. You would never be able to tell that it hit a pole. They did finally install the ramp but left the dirt right next to the ramp instead of in the pile created by the guys who did the site prep. I filled the wheel barrel three times with the dirt they left against the ramp and there still a big pile of rocks I have to clean up yet. This has definately been the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I will not be recommending them to friends or family and I would suggest you go somewhere else with your hard earned money.

Dear Joanna, My husband and I would like to pass along our thoughts about our excellent experience purchasing products from Greenacres in Nazareth. We stopped by the Nazareth store in August and were immediately helped by Melissa. She spent many hours with us assisting us with patience and knowledge to choose a beautiful dining room table, chairs and hutch and then we decided to buy a shed! We had many questions and needed a lot of guidance. She was very attentive to us and very knowledgeable and polite. As we were deciding on our furniture and Melissa was helping other customers, Joanna and other associates would come up to us and offer their assistance. We patiently awaited the arrival of our shed and it did arrive exactly as scheduled and the prep person and delivery person were great. Our beautiful dining room set arrived about a week ago. The quality is top notch and the delivery people were just as friendly and professional as everybody else we have dealt with at Green Acres. We would like to pass on to you Joanna and to The owner Cleon Swartzentruber that we could not be happier with the team at Green acres and we will be back and we will gladly recommend you to everyone we know.
