I do NOT recommend purchasing any vehicle from Thrifty. We have purchased 2 Jeeps from Thrifty in the last 2 years. The first Jeep, 2008 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara, we had some problems with the spark plugs being extremely corroded and we were told since the Jeep didnt reach a certain mileage there are things they dont check on a vehicle before selling them. We fixed them ourselves. My new Jeep, 2014 Wrangler Sport, we purchased in June of 2016. It was a spur of the moment purchase as we drove by and I noticed a Jeep in the blue I had been wanting for several years. We were very trusting and a little more relaxed with analyzing everything since this was our second vehicle purchased from the dealership. I told Dan my two biggest things were having both a soft and hard top and the remote starter. He told us that he thought there was a soft top (currently the Jeep had the hard top on) but that it was definitely equipped with a remote starter. There was no soft top but none of us had stopped to verify while purchasing the vehicle so I didnt think too much of it and ordered one online. Two weeks later I decided to try the remote starter and I noticed that whenever I used the remote starter the battery would drain and it would then take several attempts to turn over when I would try to manually start it. We called and we were told to either bring it back to Thrifty or take it to the Jeep dealership but they recommend the Jeep dealership since Thrifty does not specialize in any one vehicle. We were also told it was under factory warranty until 100,000 miles. We planned on taking it to the Jeep dealership. At that time I was in North Carolina with my Jeep for 2 weeks so planned to bring it in when I got back. Between school and work we kept putting it off since I wasnt using the remote starter during the warmer months anyways and also thinking we had the factory warranty so there was no rush. Last week when it started snowing I decided to make an appointment at the Jeep dealership since I now needed the remote starter. I got there Tuesday and was told they couldnt do anything because it was an aftermarket starter and not from the factory. My boyfriend called Thrifty about what we should do since we went by what they told us and was told they dont sell vehicles with aftermarket products on them. When he said that they clearly did they then contradicted themselves. I called today and spoke with Dan and he said he would call me back. I got a call back from a manager who was very arrogant and unprofessional. He contradicted himself with every statement and didnt want to admit a mistake he was just fixated on the time elapse. I told him if I had known it was aftermarket I would not have purchased the Jeep with the product on it since Jeeps often have electrical problems. His response was "I have never heard of a Jeep having electrical problems" When I said that we went by what they told us and had I known that it didnt come with anything that I wanted I would of gone to a Jeep dealership and paid a few thousand dollars more to get a brand new Jeep with no miles with everything I wanted the response was "Well I cant tell you what to do" He then said all that they could do was take it off but they wouldnt install a proper one. Why would I trust them doing any work to my Jeep when they cant even tell the difference between whether a vehicle has an aftermarket or factory product. I understand I waited 7 months but I was under the impression that I had a warranty for it so decided to wait for a day that I didnt have to take off work or miss any classes. I paid for the Jeep to have a remote starter and I should then have one. When I told him that I wasnt happy with that he just argued with me and said "my offer still stands if you change your mind" I told him that I would not take him up on that offer and his response was "thats good". I understand mistakes happen and things slip by but when there is a mistake made it should be owned and the mistake should be made right.

Thank you, Thrifty, for finding the perfect family car for us! In the past, we always purchased vehicles out of immediate need and therefore didnt have anything specific in mind. This was our first time buying a car where we wanted to choose every detail, and boy did we give Thrifty a detailed list right down to color, year, make, model and many interior options. We were prepared to wait for what we wanted. What we werent prepared for was for Mr. Balbi to find everything AND MORE for us in less than 12 hrs! He found us an upgraded model and still within our desired budget. Mr. Gonzalez made the paperwork and financing portion a breeze. Weve owned the car over a year now and have been back for oil changes, service and inspection and have been very pleased in all aspects. Highly recommend Thrifty for both sales and service.

Comments: My Salesman, Dan, went above and beyond to get me into my new truck. I live about 3 hours away and he even offered to deliver the truck to me! Everything was up front and explained very well. I would definetly buy my next car from Thrifty. Update: The truck I purchased had a bad 4x4 solenoid. I was not happy. Turns out that year and model the solenoid is placed in a spot where the rain leaks on it and over time, kills it. I fixed the solenoid myself just because it is easier then taking it to a shop. Thirfty honored their 3 month warranty and sent me a check for the cost of the part!! I was so impressed by the service I received that despite living 3 hours away, I will purchase my next car from them. If you decide to check out Thrifty... ask for Dan!

I drive a 2011 vehicle that was not purchased at Thrifty, and still whenever I need maintenance or repairs, I bring my vehicle over to these guys in Coopersburg. Not only are their prices significantly lower than anyone in the area, but they are the most honest group of folks you will ever encounter. I have never, ever had so much confidence in a maintenance / service team. We service both of our vehicles here and have never gotten anything except fair prices, honest answers and smiling faces. I would recommend this place to anyone. When we are ready to purchase our next vehicle, it will be from Thrifty.

I have purchased vehicles from Thrifty, and have been going there for service for years. These guys are the real deal. So honest and trustworthy - not something you often find in a car dealership / service center. I cant count how many times I brought my car in, thinking something catastrophic was wrong, and these guys found the simplest and cheapest of solutions. Knowing nothing about cars, they always have an opportunity to rip me off and never once have they ever thought about doing that. Just a completely genuine, honest group of people. I would recommend them to anyone, anywhere.

Bought a car from them over a year ago. We keep finding more and more hidden damage on the vehicle. Not just unseen damage but purposely hidden damage. A cheap paint job was applied to the cars bumpers to hide damage and is quickly chipping off. Also we found bent mounting tabs and electrical problems. We spent $8k on the car which was a fair price, so we did not pay a junker price. Less than 8k miles has been put on the car. Update. The front bumper is now falling apart. Turns out the bumper was not OEM. Most of the paint is missing. The color has faded drastically.
