Went in a little over a week ago to look at one car in particular. Was met by the two salesmen there, who were pleasant and easy to talk to. After looking over and driving the car, I discovered a few issues that required attention. Some of which would cost a bit out of pocket. Being a fairly knowledgeable mechanic, I was educated in what was involved and the rough costs of said issues. Rather than have the dealership fix the issue themselves, and then have them turn around and dump back the costs on me, I decided that I would make an offer on the car as-is. A win-win in my book, they dont have to dump money into the car and then have to worry about it being returned by the customer, and i dont have to pay the markup on services I can competently accomplish myself. Anyhow thats besides the point. I made an offer on the car, and was promised a phone call the following morning. 4 days later. Still no phone call.... I called them to see what the status was on the vehicle, still interested. I was told the vehicle was no longer for sale due to the issues I addressed..... What? Okay, but a phone call would have been nice. I dont think thats too much to ask for? Instead now I felt like i was given the run-around, and maybe they know something I dont. I tried explaining the issues to them, what was involved, and rough cost estimates to back-up the offer I made ( which was by no means out-of-the-ballpark) , and the salesman clearly had no mechanical knowledge and basically dismissed my knowledge. Hey if you dont want to sell me a car thats fine. Ill find one elsewhere. I am especially unnerved, because Im sure many of you know, car buying is a stressful task; comparing this that and the other thing, negotiating prices etc. After making the offer on this car, I also had another I looked at and was interested in at another dealer, expecting a call from Star Auto Mall, I held off on the other car, and due to my hesitation the other car slipped away! Totally bummed. Needless to stay, my biggest gripe was primarily the lack of communication, one 60 second phone call was all I needed. Id keep driving past this dealership

I recently purchased a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon from Star Auto Mall. Overall it was a good experience. I worked with Willie who was great. He wasnt overbearing, and he was patient. I would definitely recommend Star Auto Mall as long as you look over the car carefully, make sure they take care of any issues, and do some research to see if the car is going for a fair price. Here are a list of pros and cons from my experience: Pros: -They have a wide variety of cars -There were some issues with the car I wanted taken care of. The dealership said they would fix the issues before I even decided if I wanted to purchase the car. They were able to take care of most of the issues. -They were able to drop the price a little -The staff was friendly -I was able to take the car for a test drive by myself -There was a picture of Jesus on the wall! Cons: -The car was over priced for the amount of miles it had, and I feel they could have dropped the price more -As I left after buying the car, I noticed the gas tank was almost empty -They were unable to fix some of the issues they said theyd take care of, and some of the issues they fixed werent done that well -The car was missing a keyless entry remote, so I had to purchase one -I later discovered the car did not have floor mats -After buying the car, I discovered the wheels needed to be balanced

The Best Dealership IN The Date Of Pennsylvania. My dad got a car here, my cousin and I did as well. Both Emmet in sales and in finance did the best they could in few days. I got the car I wanted with the payments I wanted. Got to trade my BMW for beautiful 2010 challanger V8-Hemi. They also cleaned the engine and the inside for me the day after I got the car and she is more gorgeous then ever. Emmet taught me a lot of things about the car industry how I can take care of my car and my future buys. My family looks at this dealer over any dealership in p.a. Yeah its a lot to say but I Mean we have gotten a Mercedes C-Class here and Ford flex now a challanger. We will be back very soon for my sister get her car. Great credit , bad credit they will get you approved if you work with them and they will give you your all. Special thanks to Golu He sold my dad the Mercedes and the Ford flex. He has been family to us and him he got my car cleaned in and out and the engine. Thank you so much from me and my father alex colon and my mother danesa colon. P.S Emmets TAKE A GOD DAMN VACATION This man on his 2 year Anniversary helped me get a car man does not give up on sales nor sleep. Please give this man it least 2,000 or 3,000 dollars to go on vacation with the amount of cars he has sold.

Keep in mind, this is a USED car dealer. Most of their cars came from the auto auction. It is up to you to check the carfax (available on-line) and to REALLY check out the car before you buy it. This is easy to do, because they let you test drive it without a salesperson. So you can drive it wherever & however you want. Some of their sales people will try to brush over any problems you point out to them - at which point you should just involve their sales manager. The sales manager WANTS to sell cars. He very quickly agreed to fix everything I pointed out to him. Note - These fixes need to be written down in the sales agreement for them to be legally binding. READ everything before you sign & CHECK everything before you leave the lot. I love my manual-transmission 2009 Subaru Legacy that I bought from them 2 months ago. I bought for less than KBB & way cheaper than from a Subaru dealer. I dont know what LJs issue was with the deposit thing, because it is illegal for a dealer to keep a deposit on a car you dont buy. This is what the Star sales person told me when I asked about making a deposit on my car. I knew I wanted it, but needed to do some research & sleep on it for a few days.

Was in the market to get myself and my wife a car, saw a couple of cars that i liked at star auto mall. Ruby the finance manager was able to get me the loan approvals I needed for both cars, she was very helpful and friendly. She had the right -get things done- attitude. She works it out to get you the approval you need. Worked with Jimmy on finding the right car I want. They were very friendly, and patient. No pressure or hassle at all. They also worked with me on giving me a discount on the cars. Worth mentioning that I had gone to another dealership down 191 and they couldnt get me approved for two loans. Here is the best part, one of the cars I bought had a minor issue with window in back seat. I noticed it after a week of buying the car. I called them, they directed me to their auto shop in Bethlehem. I went there, they took my car to the BMW dealership down the street, and fixed it for me free of charge. They were friendly and professional. Conney, the phone attendant was very nice and helpful, and kept me up to date on what was going on. Stop by to see them if you are in market to buy a car. Overall, great experience.
