This place must be haunted by the souls of former Hills employees, the store that used to fill this store. I dont know if Ive ever experienced a Home Depot like this one. First off lets discuss the building, its in a mall Home Depot is on the fist floor with Michaels and Babies R Us, Kohls and Burlington Coat Factory are on the second. The layout of this store is very unique. Most home Depots are layed out about the same. This one does not follow that pattern. We asked for help at the register and in the middle of our sentence the lady who was looking directly at us the whole time and watched us walk up to her turned around and started talking to another employee. After she finished with her conversation we had to again ask her for help as this was the first time we were seeing her. She called the department responsible for making keys and was hung up on twice. After the person decided to show up he walked right past us even though I said hi and walked over to the person standing behind us. That person said we were first and he still tried to help him after that man said again we were first he said oh I thought you were together. We gave him the first set of keys and in the meantime the other person went away when the employee turned back around he started looking for the other person, he then asked us where he went at this point I was already annoyed and I think I said something like I dont care where he went. After he finished the first set of keys he refused to hand them to my wife even though she was much closer. She then gave him the second set, after he finished those he again refused to hand them to her he gave me the copies, I handed them to her then he gave me the original, I again handed them to her. Very strange man. When we told the people we were staying with about this they agreed the hated this location and refuse to shop her too because of the service.

A couple of weeks ago, I walked into this store to purchase laminate flooring. A team member was very helpful, explaining the benefits of plank flooring. I hadnt decided what direction I wanted to take, so I kicked it around and measured again. Yesterday, I went back to purchase a box of the plank flooring. There were two kinds in the store, but I noticed one box only contained 19 sq. feet and another 24 sq. feet. The room I need the floor for is 22 sq. feet. You can imagine which box I wanted to go with. The only problem was that I didnt see the color Id chosen. When I flagged down a team member, she told me that, even though there are 16 or different styles shown, they do not stock all of the styles in the store. They consider it a "custom order". She then tried to get me to buy two boxes of the other brand–"in case there was a problem." $85 for 22 sq feet? No. The whole "not stocking all of the colors" deal was something the last employee never mentioned. That brings us to the main problem with this store. The employees NEVER try to be proactive. "If youre getting this, you should know..." They almost never voluntarily approach you and most of the time are talking to one another. And the store never carries what you need–its smaller than ever other Home Depot. Like a 7-11 of home improvement. Unfortunately, the style I wanted is only available through, Home Depot. I had to order the floor on-line and have it shipped to the store, which is going to take...wait for it....two weeks. If the first employee would have shared this info, it would have saved me a trip and a lot of wasted time. Its not hard to smile. Its not hard to consider what your customers might need. Thats called customer service. Id rather go to Millers Ace Hardware on South Park Road. They might not carry as much, but they are always polite.

Went into the Bethel Park store to pick up some supplies for a house I am going to rent. One of the products I needed was a couple tubes of concrete filler for cracks around the foundation. When I went over to the isle it was temporarily closed to the public. However there was a young man with long hair and glasses standing in the next isle. When I approached him about getting the tubes he said the isle was closed and I would have to come back another time. Now this was the last thing I needed to get to finish up at the rental property. He could have assisted me and gone into the closed isle and picked up the tubes and given them to me to purchase. Instead he was too busy carrying on a conversation with his friend to stopped in the store. I almost dumped the stuff in my arms on the floor and walked out but the cashier Karin came over and said I can check you out here. I voiced my opinion to her and got no response. She also could have gone over to the co-worker conversing with his friend to help me. The only reason I checked out was because I had a store credit card. When I left your store I handed my card to another customer. I will never shop in your store again!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will go out of my was and go to Lowes or another store that has better customer service. What is so sad is that I have spend a lot of money in your store recently buying paint and other products for my rental property. I was in your store on 5/17/14 and checked out at 4:50 pm.

Its a Home Depot, so right off the bat itll have whatever youre looking for. I personally dont like the people standing at the front of the aisles trying to sell you services that you didnt approach them for, but I get why theyre there. The biggest pain about this specific location is the entrance. In order to get into the store, you have to go to a very specific entrance (the Eastern-most door), but theres no sidewalk or walkway or anything to get there from the Western side of the parking lot. You have to walk along with the cars in order to get inside. Whomever designed this place wasnt thinking correctly. Its a nightmare just trying to get in and out of here.

This location is a smaller neighborhood store... about half the size of a full-size Home Depot. Several people have complained here about this store not having all items typical of a HD and thats why. Still, this is a popular store for this community without being a massive "big box". Another reviewer complained about an associate not going into a closed aisle to get something she wanted. A closed aisle means pallets are being moved in the overhead storage areas and its a safety hazard to go into that aisle at that time. Those closures only last a few minutes and Im sure the product needed wasnt worth risking that associates safety or job.

Came to pick things up that I ordered online got there an hour BEFORE closing was met at the door by were closing an hour early for our Christmas party. When an establishment closes early its good business to put it online so people have an indication not to come. Wasted gas wasted time. I will be driving furthee to the one in Bridgeville after my experience tonight I will not be coming back here
