Under staffed. 8 checkout lanes and usually 1 cashier to checkout (maybe 2). gets pretty absurd. its clearly pisspoor management and greedy owners because the employees are nice (and clearly overworked). Ive been here 5 times over the last 5 days (every day this week) and its clear the owner does not understand how to staff a place like this. Ill be headed somewhere else to finish the new kitchen... For example I came here today at 10:30 a.m. and waited half an hour to check out then I came back at 8 p.m. and waited another half hour to check out the same lady was working the checkout line and I dont think I saw but maybe a total of 5 people working there. Who in their right mind runs a major operation Like Home Depot with five employees. Im one of those people who refuses to use the self-checkout Lanes because I believe theyre insulting insulting. If Im going to spend my hard-earned money at your store I deserve a real person to talk to putting me in front of the machine is like a letter from the owner saying "you dont matter to me youre just another dime in the bucket you worthless sheep" Maybe there should be some kind of law that requires owners to show up at the businesses they own I bet a lot of the shopping and Retail experience would be vastly improved if that were the case this Home Depot is a perfect example of what happens when a corporation and business owners are out of touch with the front line. I think Ill stand outside of the store tomorrow and ask people to read this review maybe thatll send a clear message to the owner via a gross sales drop...

My elderly mother and I went to Home Depot on Sunday, although the store was not busy, we did have to wait patiently for someone to help us load 9 bags of mulch. A very nice sales woman was helping us try to find someone to help, she kept coming past asking if someone had helped us yet. While this was going on there was two men operating a forklift moving mulch pallets. We were joking back and forth with them as we waited. After standing there for 7 minutes a very ... athletic blond female in a spandex outfit comes over ... RIGHT NEXT TO US and starts to load bags of mulch for her own cart. The two men on the forklift stopped what the were doing and asked her if SHE needed help! I said "youre kidding me right? We have been standing here for 7 minutes and you have not offered us help!" The older of the two actually said "we didnt know you needed help" ... As an exchange started between us a very petit woman came over and helped us load our mulch and leave. I was FURIOUS we were dismissed like that!

My hot water tank started to leak on Wed, 12/30. I read Home Depots ad that stated if you call before noon your new hot water will be installed the same day. "same day installation" ad plastered everywhere. I was there at 9:30 in the morning bought a new hot water tank, set up an appointment for Mitchell Plumbing to come out for same day service. I even spoke to Mitchell Plumbing myself and they said they would be out between 12:00 and 4:00. I waited the entire day and no one showed up or even called me. When I called Mitchell Plumbing at 4 they said they had no record of my appointment but after checking further they said they found it but was scheduled for Sat. Wed to Sat is NOT same day installation. Home Depot advertises same day installation but DOES NOT honor their ad. They just left me stuck with a leaky hot water tank and no hot water for two more days. I will never buy from them again.

I called to ask a question about doors. One of my questions was what are your instock bi fold door sizes and all she said was I dont know they range from 20 something to whatever the number was. The reason I called was because I wanted to see if they had a door to fit my needs. The lady in millwork was not very helpful. She didnt even seem like she wanted to take my call because it took her a really long time to answer. I was getting bumped around till she finally answered and when she did answer she blew through my questions. At the end my my call I just said okay well that didnt help me very much Ill call somewhere else.

Very unsatisfied with their piece garbage Rigid Drills and lousy warranty where Home Depot wants to charge me $18.95 and spend 8 weeks repairing a drill. The drill broke after less than 10 uses. Rigid customer service is not any better, they even said they dont understand why Home Depot does that and then proceeded to hang up on me after I asked if there was anything else they could do. I will never purchase Rigid again and will be taking my business to the new Lowes right up the street.

Was looking at appliance for about 45 minutes. Had about $3700 budget...couldnt find anyone to help . asked guy who was in that area...he grunted something to my question about bundling appliances and left...waited for him to come back...he didnt , I wont come back either.

This Home Depot is okay! I usually shop Lowes, but from time to time I get a good deal at this location. Its a big box store and service is hit or miss!
