STAY AWAY - I was at Clift Auto Sales in February 2011. I met Renee (the owner) She sold me a 2002 ford f150 sport truck. She told me she drove this truck for a couple weeks and that there were no problems with it. WELL, that is NOT the case. She LIED! The truck burns oil. At least a quart every few days!!! Called and told her there was a problem and she would NOT do anything about it. Had the truck for only a few weeks. Renee said it was a great truck and it needed absoultely NOTHING! WHAT A LIE!!! NOW I have to spend 2,700 in addition to the price of the truck for a warranty so I can hopefully get the truck fixed. They also they try to hide scratches with colored wax that comes off when it rains. THEY ARE A RIPP OFF! WELL IT IS NOW JULY OF 2011 AND THE TRUCK I BOUGHT FROM CLIFT AUTO SALES *RENEE CLIFT) IS IN NEED OF A NEW ENGINE!!! THE COST TO REPAIR THE TRUCK IS ALMOST AS MUCH AS A NEW ENGINE. IT IS COSTING ME A MONTHLY PAYMENT - ON A TRUCK I CANT DRIVE, PLUS INSURANCE, AND LETS NOT FORGET THE MECHANIC FEES THAT ARE NOW PAST $400.00 AND RISING JUST TO DIAGNOSE EVERYTHING WRONG SO FAR. WHAT A WAY TO SELL QUALITY USED CARS RENEE CLIFT. LETS NOT FORGET ERIC CLIFT EITHER! WAY TO BE THE BEST - SELLING LEMONS TO UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE.

Id give a negative star if I could. I bought a Jeep there and was tricked into paying cash up front (basically all my savings) and the Jeep turned out to be a lemon. Within a week after getting the vehicle, I was driving with my 2 young neices and my mom and the brakes practically gave out while going down a steep hill with a curve. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor! The brake line was messed up. It didnt get that way in a week. I confronted the lady who (& her husband) owns/runs the place. She played stupid and did nothing about it. Then more problems occurred, it was discovered that the vehicle had been sitting in water like a flood or something. I had to get another vehicle because that one wasnt safe to drive. Im not sure how they get their vehicles passed for sale unless they are forging it. Im absolutely disgusting with them. Not only did they rip me off but they jeporadized mine & my familys lives not to mention other drivers. It is, to this day, my biggest regret ever going there. All the 5 star reviews are either family/friends or they paid people for the reviews.
