I took my vehicle in for an annual inspection and was told that the drivers side mirror needed to have the glass replaced because it was clouding over. Since it was just the glass (GM part 88981032 which is about $45), and it was explained to me they can easily "just pop it in", I said to go ahead with the repair before asking for an estimate as it would most likely be inexpensive.. When I received the bill, the cost was over $400 for the mirror. I contacted GM and they explained to me that $400+ would be what an ENTIRE mirror assembly would cost, not just the glass which would be, as said, around $45. But, when I checked the mirror assembly, I noticed I still had the original part and just new glass (I know this because of the presence of small scratches that have been on the mirror housing). That was my first issue with Klick Lewis service. A couple of months later, I had to take the vehicle back for service as it started squealing. They diagnosed the issue and stated it was the tensioner pulley and serpentine belt. Both items were replaced, but the car still squeals just as bad as it had before. This is not my main concern, although its not ideal. What made this visit worse was this: while I was at the service department, I mentioned that my HVAC control unit was failing (flashing which is a very common issue) and would eventually need replaced. I asked them to quote me a price, which they happily did. All good so far, but when I got home and looked over my bill for the belt and pulley replacement, I noticed they charged me $112 to "diagnose the A/C system" - which is NOT something I had even asked for. So, needless to say, this hasnt left me wanting to ever go back to Klick Lewis for any purchases or vehicle service.

I guess car sales must be down for Klick. Today my father who has been a regular customer to Klick Lewis took our Buick to Klick because the rear wheel was making a noise similar to a wheel bearing failing. The mechanic told him the noise is caused by a stone in the hubcap but that the coil has corrosion and needs to be replaced because its going to fail. The coil on the car isnt old (and certainly isnt corroded) and my dad knows cars and told the mechanic its okay even if it does fail because this car has 3 coils, (1 coil for every 2 cylinders) and he will probably be able to get home on the remaining cylinders that will fire. Maybe the mechanics are now on commission because he really pressed on about how the coil needs to be replaced to the tune of $700. My father, a polite professional, said he should be going and left with the car wheel still making wheel noise. Fortunately, he drove back to the shop and the mechanic rode along and promptly said, "you need to replace the wheel bearing". By this time my father no longer had time to return and have the wheel bearing replaced. My father and I have found todays adventure, or misadventure, amusing but very disappointing. If my mother had been at the garage and not been able to reach us, she probably would have given in to the mechanics persistence and Klick would have billed her for replacing a perfectly good coil and charging $700 for doing so. Not only has my dad decided to take the car to another garage to be serviced, but they have lost well over a decade of loyalty. And sadly, since we dont feel they can be trusted, I cannot recommend them for car maintenance.

My purchase of the 2011 was illegal by Keith Stainbrook who would not disclose numbers of trade, APR, or amount financed. he said that the Theft protection MUST be purchased with GAP to get the lower rate. THIS WAS UNFAIR ILLEGAL PRACTICE. The following business day I spoke to the bank that financed me and they said that the salesperson was dishonest that they never do business that way. I contacted Keith that following day by text message and told him how he made us feel during the transaction and how he was caught lying about the entire deal and all he could text back to me was"sorry" . I wanted to purchase a different vehicle the day of my deal and Keith was mad to say the least. He said that my bank wouldnt finance something that was not chevy, he again lied. Your dealership will get itself in hot water with this salesman. I know he has worked there many years as we did business there with Keith prior and had no issues. I owe 18,000 on a 2011 equinox because of my poor judgment of character , lack of questions and lack of information from the salesperson Keith. I am not happy with him, and wanted to call the BBB My 1st service experience with the oil change was absolutely the opposite, Ben was very very wonderful , he got me in the bay immediately with little waiting time.Ben is excellent in the Service Dept, I recommend the service dept and possibly

Ive been going to Klick-Lewis for a few years now for maintenance on my GM vehicles. All of the employees are very nice and professional. That being said, the service department is way too slow. It should not take 2 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation! This is an ongoing theme in their service department as the other customers in the waiting room were also complaining about the wait. After almost being there for two hours, I was told that I need an alignment. I asked how long will it take?. She says an hour. I declined the alignment because an hour at K.L really means 1.5 hours. I said that I have already been here two hours for an oil change and tire rotation, I cant wait another hour for an alignment. She was apologetic and said that Saturdays are our busiest day. I dont understand how it should make a difference. I had an appointment and they knew ahead of time what I wanted done. So either the scheduling department over books appointments, a tech didnt come into work, or walk-ins are getting priority over appointments. Either way, Klick Lewis lost a $100 alignment because the wait times are crazy. I cant say enough nice things about the staff though, they are really nice.

I have had an EXCEPTIONAL experience at Klick Lewis in Palmyra! It started when I bought my brand new 2013 Equinox last winter at Klick Lewis. Then right before Christmas this year someone carelessly playing with their phone while driving plowed into my new car going 55 mph. Needless to say my car was totaled. I had my car towed back to Klick Lewis where I met with Greg Lewis. He personally went over the car with the insurance adjuster and handled everything from there on out. When my settlement came through, Greg worked very closely with me to get me a great deal and great financing on a 2014 Equinox! He personally picked out a black-granite model with chrome features and had it running and waiting for me to test drive when I arrived for our meeting. I couldnt be happier with the way I was treated and the professionalism with which I was presented! I highly recommend stopping at this dealership while in the market fr a new or used car. Their customer service and care for your needs is genuine and above the rest!
